  • Mr. Simonline do i have to port out while moving away from boost to telstra? Would telstra at any point come back with esim for prepaid service?

    • As I was told, when you port from boost to telstra, you has to transfer to another service provider say vodafone use a few days and transfer back.

However, I do see some costomer port directly from telstra.com ucessfully. I am not sure whether it depends on luck or their system had changed to allow this happen.

Telstra Esim service likely will be back end of the year

Meanwhile, I am so suprised to find more than 60% of our orders ordered the additional vodafone 30 sim card (for 3.9$).

I am not quite sure whether most of them are existing telstra/boost customers or it's because our vodafone 30$ sim is so cheap.

By the way, we can't sell voda 30 only for that price. It's way below our cost, we can only provide it to whom need it for porting purpose.

  • If I recharge my boost SIM next month, is that mean I will not able to send and receive MMS?

  • Still available? Went to buy says sold out

    • Yes, we still have. Just want to control the stock to prevent oversale to ensure good shopping experience.

All orders have been processed and shipped out.

      • Thanks a lot. Purchased

  • @simonline, my Coles mobile plan is getting expired on 09/10. If I buy this now would I be able to:

    • port it to Boost straight away? Assuming so but will still like to confirm.

    • use for another year until Oct 2022 and eligible for 100 GB data ( want to ensure of any ifs and buts)

    • +1

      Yes for both questions

  • Can someone remind me that there are no issues porting from Telstra to Boost? No extra steps having to Port to a completely different provider, is there?

    • Are you telstra postpaid custmer? the standard process as informed by telstra is that: They want you to ask boost mobile for a blank sim card, then they can change your phone number to that blank boost sim, and then you recharge the plan you want.

      • I am a Telstra postpaid customer. Can I order this boost sim from you and ask Telstra to port my number into the same? Will this work?

        • Yes, you need to contact Boost once you receive this sim.. they will send you blank sim and then porting will start.

  • I don't understand why no MMS for boost. It ruins the deal for me.
… and telstra limited international ruins that too.

Looking like woolies is last choice.

    • Does Woolworths have International calls?

      Coles does.

    • We have several Boost services. MMS works a treat with each no issues. Wither on network or over wifi all works well. We have all been migrated over and need to use the new app.

  • do you offer any deals on this optus plan

    https://www.optus.com.au/shop/prepaid/sim-card/180-sim

    • No, we don't have optus sims. We used to have a optus store, the contract terms of we sell the shop including we can not sell optus products for 48 months which will ends in early 2022.

  • Has no MMS in the new plans actually been confirmed? Or has Simonline been the only one saying it because he noticed its not listed in the inclusions, and so drew his own conclusion that there's no longer MMS?

    • I haven’t heard anyone else confirm it, but I wonder why he would say it if he didn’t have a good source as he will lose sales.

I spoke to Boost for over an hour and they said that MMS isn’t going away though.

We understand there's a large numbers customers will port out and port in this time. We feel we have the obligation to let the customers know what we aware of. As far as we know right now, MMS is temporary unavailable because of technical issues of the new system. it's not boost's intention to remove it, thus sometime in the future likely will be available again.

We tested ourselves after some customers report us the MMS doesn't work. and asked someone internal who told us above. I suggest not until Boost updates it's website as they promised to Mr Steve, you may assume it's not available this moment.

        • This kinda changes a few things for me.

So MMS is included, there are just issues which will be solved at some point?

However.. if there are issues with MMS, why would it only be referred to for new customers? I'm currently with boost and haven't noticed anything.

          • +1

@HappyPooPants: Because the new activation now through the new system.

The Local MMS was actually not included even for the old plan. However, in the old system, the included international MMS (1500, 2000, 3000 or whatever, depends on the time of plans) are actually not only international but also be able to sent to Australia numbers, so it covers both.

I activated new $300 sim plan this morning. Did a test by sending a MMS to my sis and she received it.

  • Had a problem paying via CC.

Got stuck on the page not loading,

    Paypal worked fine however.

    • Thanks KD.

I see a few CC orders in the past three hours. Looks like it's not a common issue. if anybody facing same problem, please PM me.

      • I got the same error… tried to pay with my credit card and the website is just like stopped and not further processing after clicked "Pay AU$156.00"

  • is this a scam anyone? looks shifty the website

    • Spoke to him on the phone seemed OK.

    • I bought from them last month deal I won't mind buying again. Delivery was quick.

Don't judge the book by the cover not every business can hire expensive web designers. The most important is the web merchandise system works, get the order done and accept your payment securely.
The look and feel can be deducted for low budget operation.

      • Yup he was fine on the phone and sent exactly what he said he was going to (after I made a mistake with my order).
        Definitely checks out!!!

  • TELSTRA PRE-PAID is 5G or 4g?

    • 4g, they removed 5g access july. They try to test whether customers would like to pay extra for 5g access although /TB data cost of 5g is much cheaper than 4g. Might add back next year if the strategy doesn't work.

  • I'm with boost now and plan expires in 11 days. Can I switch to Telstra as new starter? any restrictions? Thanks

    • You can switch to Voda or or Optus to be absolutely sure then port to Telstra. Or you can go on Telstra customer service for hours on the phone.

  • Ordered, thanks

  • Do the $200 Boost sims have to be activated by 27 September 2021 to get 100gb data?

    • No, I don't think so. it's a base data

  • Ordered and arrived in 2 days. Is there anywhere I can leave a review?

    • We have a review system installed, I am not quite sure will it work properly as it seems no one ever tried.

      Thanks Kainomac.

  • I just bought two of Telstra sim cards. This is the first time I purchase from simonline.

  • Hi rep,

I put an order through earlier today and forgot to apply discount code on checkout. Are you able to cancel this order ? Invoice number 938. Have also sent through an email as well

    • 936 ? cancelled, you can place again.

  • Hello @simonline, a quick question. Can '$200 SIM' be used to recharge if let's say you are already on Boost monthly package? Or is this only for new customers?

    • +1

No, it can not be used as a recharge

  • Hi simonline,
Will the Boost sims be restocked? Thanks

    • Yes, restocked.

  • +1

Hey shout-out to simonline, my order arrived express within 24 hours of ordering. Great service.

    • You are really lucky.

We do have some orders got significantly delayed by covid.

We try our best to sent the order by the next business day if not processed the same day. However, the postage and couriers this moment is really crazy. I found most orders are not on time, delayed by 1 day to a week depends on luck.

Thanks have grabbed the 240GB sim and voda port in/out sim as my Telstra plan expires next month.

Just read a few people had issues with porting from Telstra so hopefully the voda sim avoids all the stress.

    • Have done the same, hopefully it's not a big hassle with the Vodafone sim. Was considering the JB Telstra deal until I realized in the past 12 months I've used less than 100GB all up, despite having a 180GB/month plan…

      • Same I average maybe 10-15GB a month so was a no brainer.

  • may I ask what happens when you've used up all the data? does your speed just get capped or is there an option to add more?

    • They have 2 Additional Data Recharge option available for Active Plan Users: $5 - 1 GB - 7 Days and $20 - 4 GB - 28 Days

So, I am considering either you can recharge data plan (not worth!) or recharge new 12-Month plan.

  • Hi simonline, just want to confirm the current $200 deal sim expiry date is 10/2022?

    • yes

      • Cheers, ordered one.

  • Hi simonline, Can I get a $3.90 Vodafone SIM to port out/in of my current Boost prepaid with a Telstra 300 SIM using TDEAL? Cheers!

    • Nevermind - I didn't see the option under the Telstra 300 SIM item. Ordered one, thanks!

  • Brilliant service! Purchased yesterday, arrived today(I'm in Melbourne so that helped), only paid an extra $1 for Express. Sim activated in about 20 mins going amaysim to boost.

  • Hi simonline will this Boost Sim work with Aldi? Or do I need another Sim to port into then port to boost?

    • No, as well as it's on your name (date of birth), you can port directly to telstra or boost from Aldi mobile.

      • Sorry thats what I meant, mums on Aldi now and what's to buy this Boost. Thought she might of had to have a voda Sim or something then port to boost.

        All good cheers

  • Very impressed with the service. Ordered online @ night, received Sim in 2 days 👏👏👍

  • Just wondering how does some one become a boost reseller. Do you think it’s good idea to do it part time ?

  • I’m with Lebara 12 month prepaid plan can i port my number to the $200 Boost Mobile 12 month plan with the included sim they supply.

  • I bought the $156 100gb offer from you guys and everything went great.
I spent the extra $1 for express shipping and received the sim in my mailbox 6 days after ordering (inc a weekend). I live in Sydney.
I ported from Coles Mobile which took less than 5 minutes and no hassles. (Avoid Coles Mobile it's internet was rubbish for me).
    Thanks OP.

  • I bought 2 of $156 sim with express shipping.
The parcel arrived so quickly. But there was only one sim in it.
I tried to contact with the e mail address up in the detail yesterday and today but no answer.
I'm so worried now. I found phone number in the website and I will call them tomorrow.
Hopefully they receive my call and sort out the problem straight away…..

    • I've made a call 3 times at one hour intervals and no one respond.
I'm so stressed at the moment…

      • Our mistake, will send you an other one monday.

  • I'm on Boost for a while now but the app has stopped working and I'm wanting to know how much data I've got left. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem with the Android app?

    • dial #111# to check the balance

      • I have resorted to dialing that number.

    • I think there are 2 different boost apps, one was for the older plans and then a new one for the current plans. If your plan upgraded you might need the new app?

      • I'm still on the $150 yearly plan and was happily using the app when it says that there was an error.

I then tried the newer app and it won't even install, even after I uninstalled the original app.

  • Received from Boost online chat just now:

I just received your message . Thank you for messaging us.

We understand that you need help with regards to your concern about mms , let me help you with your concern.

We totally understand that MMS has been part of our service since then, but as we migrate all service to the new plan mms will be no longer be part of it as of this moment until further notice. Just to give you heads up that we are looking to bring back MMS options 2nd quarter of next year a long with International roaming. Res assured we'll keep you posted for any update and we appreciate your understanding.

    • I think the MMS issue is with international MMS. I can tell you that I have just ported 3 numbers to boost in the last few weeks and all of them are able to send local MMS at no charge.

Support appears to have no idea about any of their inclusions.

  • Thanks OP, just ordered Boost $300 SIM as my current service is up after some time with Vodafone

  • +1

    Hi,

Does existing custombers (e.g. $300 plan) need to port out and come back with these packages? Can someone please provide relevant info.

    Thanks

    • You need to port your number to different provider and port back again to enjoy this deal.
I think this store offer $30 vodafone starter pack with only $3.9 if you buy with the $300 card together.
      Hope this will help.
