SCA Plastic Organiser 21 Compartment $3.99 (Was $5.99) @ Supercheap Auto (Club Membership Required)

860

Seems good value even at normal price. Looks pretty decent.
I prefer the double sided ones but this will do just fine for now.
Plenty of stock everywhere.
Hope it helps someone.

    Looks the same https://www.kmart.com.au/product/21-compartment-organiser/27…
$0.49 cents cheaper but less stocks available.

And to think i paid $7 each a year ago! I knew i should have waited…

      • +3

See…you have to be patient, and wait a year or two for your 21-compartment organisers.

    • Most likely same supply! Look at Kmart's battery box, makes other stores a joke.

    • Same parent company

These things are great! I have zero mechanical/handyman skills but I'm a blackbelt in Nerd Fu so mine gets used as a carry case for my D&D dice and miniatures. Good value!

  • +3

I have one of these and wish I didnt. Red separater tabs slide out of the grooves far too easily, ends up being a mess.

    • +6

I hate that. A drop of glue per tab can fix it.

    • +2

and the whole case bends and the lid pops open and shit flies everywhere… what was once all neatly setup, ends up with fk it just throw em all in th case.

    • +1

Agreed no good for small screw supplies. Lid is to flexible, items don't stay in the same compartment they started in.

  • I could put seeds in it.

    • +1

It would only work for larger seeds or if you leave them in the packet. The partitions will move and the seeds will slip under.

      • +1

yeah currently i have a plastic decor container with 20+ open packets of seeds in it with pegs on them. It isn't ideal. There is spillage and then i throw the 'mystery' seeds into the garden every so often.

    • +4

That's one way of starting gardening.
Remember to water them and a small hole at the bottom, all set ;)

For urban eshays that won't rock a bum bag.

I know this one is cheap, but if you're just starting your garage sorting may I suggest this one from Supercheap instead.

It's a ToolPro one… locks well, stackable, durable. If you're planning on buying 3-4 these are terrific.
Of course it's more expensive, but not ridiculously so ($13.49).

this is a good quality one.. bought when it was on 50% off

    • 3-4 times the price

Can we add el cheapo stick-on rubber feet near the bottom edges to replicate the same stackability

      Dimensions SCA 320mm x 265mm x 50mm vs ToolPRO 378mm x 290mm x 70mm

      • +1

I know its more expensive, but wait for them to go on sale (as Jee said). They go for half price once or twice a year and are worth the difference.

    • For info to any OzBargainers:

Mine (the el cheapo ones) just arrived

These do have stackability with a ridge in between each row on the underside

Will see how long it lasts before throwing it out (per other OzBargainers) though it will probably see good use for cold storage.

Thank goodness they have after pay for this item.

      you are supercheap~

      • Good one! Lol

Would prefer Bunnings' one, 99 cents more: https://www.bunnings.com.au/tactix-310mm-22-compartment-orga…

    • I agree, the Bunnings ones are a touch more robust.

    • got 2 of these rescently, only thing wrong is i need more!

  • +7

I have a couple or these trays and they're really cheap crap. I have a tactix (bunnings) one that is identical except orange instead of red. It's dividers don't fall out and it latches properly instead of having to be manipulated each time to get it to properly latch.

I really need another couple of these so I might go buy 5 good ones and throw the super cheap ones out.

  • +2

This one from bunnings is pretty good quality.

  • Is the size of the compartment adjustable?

  • +1

Great product. Now I have something to store my pills stash

  • Am I old school - still using old biscuit tins and Vegemite jars?

    • Upgrade mate :).

I used jam jars with the lids nailed to wood in a row. For these prices, you can go pro (and mobile).
Nice to be able to bring screws and nuts to the job at hand.

  • +1

New snackbox at work. Fill it with lollies.

  • +3

Own one - wouldn't bother. Get something better quality. The latches are crap, cheap plastic. I don't think mine even properly aligns anymore/closes properly.

It 'works' I guess but spend an extra few bucks and go to Bunnings' instead.
