FYI:

Carl's Jr is new to Australia but has been around a long time!
The 'founded' timeline: McDonald's on May 15, 1940, Carl’s Jr on July 17, 1941 (1946 introduced burgers) and then, July 23, 1953 Burger King (our HJ’s).
Carl's Jr burgers are 'chargrilled', unlike HJ's 'flamegrilled'.
The burgers are BETTER at Carl's. Try the Angus burger range and taste for yourself.
I DO NOT WORK OR AM ASSOCIATED IN ANYWAY to Carl's Jr. other than being a fan and addict. :-)

  • Shame there aren't any in Brisbane apart from the airport and some outlying suburbs…..

Have they updated the app? Last time I tried it the app was useless and had no pricing and no in app ordering. I quite like some of their items but their app is awful and idk about the rest of the country but up here around Brisbane they’re the “servo” burger chain I only ever see them attached to petrol stations

Carl's Jr tastes the same as Hungry Jacks, but more pricey.

I got the tradie meal yesterday,it was nice.

I don't recommend the Santa Fe sauce, though.

Carl's Jnr is actually very good in North America but the one near me (Hope Island, GC) has real problems with presentation .. burgers thrown together and the meat obviously precooked, dry and tasteless, often luke warm. Star nuggets like bullets!! No thanks, not at any price .. :-( .. !!

  • Since when do we have Carls Jr?

If msjb's post history is anything to go by, Dec 2020.

Since introducing Carl's Jr. to Australia in 2016 in Bateau Bay, New South Wales, the brand has grown to nearly 30 restaurants throughout Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and New South Wales. We already have plans to rapidly grow the Carl's Jr. footprint in Australia with an additional 27 restaurants in the coming year. The Master Franchise with CJ's QSR will further accelerate our growth as we build towards a goal to open 200 restaurants over the next 10 years.

My experience with Carl Jr's is that it is absolutely crap. The one at Knox City gave us cold burgers, and the burgers weren't good at all. Much rather hungry jacks to be honest.

    Carl's Jr. monthly deals

The burgers are better at Hungry Jacks.

  • Tried them once a few months ago from the Glendale NSW store. Never again.

The shakes are good (for a fast food place). The burgers however are overpriced, fairly tasteless and just not worth it.

I look forward to a weekly post by msjb from now on telling us how great Carl's JR are and that they're not a clone store. The marketing won't help if the food is subpar.

Yes, them too, since I hear they're also huge Carl's Jr fans. I was actually referring to the OP in this instance though.

I wonder if he is part of that church?
