That screen is compatible with Freesync ( AMD ) as well as GSync ( Nvidia )

Radeons tend to do better with older CPUs due to hardware scheduler instead of software found of the likes of Nvidia cards.

Yes but back then video cards didn't have the capacity to make you money unlike today. Technically mine has already paid itself off since it was mining on the side.
This is a very high end gpu though

This one has a better cooler but the Phantom has 3 8 pins so it won't run into any power limitations. If you're more of the undervolt type then the MERC is for you if you want to overclock it then the Phantom.
Well.. I gave up and bought one.

If you want raw raster performance, this is a fair bit better
If you game at 1440p, this is betterIf you care about ray tracing, rtx 3080 is the way to go but 6900xt ain't too bad if you don't mind dropping the resolution and quality settings down a bit

@Megahowler: I think that is the same warehouse that I had to choose. Maybe today. They said ETA 9.9. I ordered about 12h after the deal was posted.
I also have an ETA of 09/09/21. Has anyone else with this ETA had theirs ship from the Melbourne warehouse (Dandenong)? I'm still at 'awaiting processing'.
I contacted support. They are expecting cards to arrive tomorrow, 10/9, from another store and should ship early next week.

Early Monday am - order just shipped so 16/09 must have been an automatic update after 09/09 passed.
Received notice that mine shipped today. I've got a bit of stuff off PLE over the years and never had any problems so everything should be good.
I got my card today..
Now I've had to buy a new power supply.. I forgot the PC it was purchased for only had a 550W in it (whoops)
Battlefield 4 runs fine.. But any stress testing crashes the PC almost instantlyGoing for a quality 850W :)
For this card you need a minimum 750w, some good 6900xt can reach 23000 time spy score, even better than any 3090 overclocked.

I received mine today, Brisbane area.
I picked mine up today. Awesome performance but mine causes a hektic buzzing sound through my speakers when playing games/doing gpu intensive tasks. My 3070 didn't make any buzzing sounds at all. It is not coil whine.
I use a USB DAC so I'm very surprised its an issue…Try swapping it for a new one I guess? :(
15 Days since I placed my order (StarTrack Express), Still haven't received my item. I live in greater Sydney area.
Anyone elses card arrive like its been opened before? Mines got torn box tabs, tape on the plastic is full of carpet fur, and the card is scuffed on the corner :/
