Good price, nice bottle, shame about the whisky
This vs blue label?
Green 15 all the way
Hell no.
If cost wasn't a factor.
I'd take blue over green.
Green is overrated. Blue is clearly and easily better. Green wins on price only.
@shiny1: blue is smooth like drinking water
green is much more complex and better flavour.
then you have the price.
Id go 3 bottles of green vs 1 blue any day.
@cumova: Of course. 3x the price does not mean 3x the quality. But it is priced accordingly because that's the way it works. I'm merely stating that blue is meant to be better than green, and I think only a vocal minority would disagree.
What's the difference between this and blue label?
Different whiskies blended to make each product
Personally I think it’s quite a nice whiskey but there are better whiskeys for the money such as Dewars 18 (IMO).
A few years ago I got introduced to Japanese whiskeys - that changed everything.
Still my go to is Royal Salute - maybe it’s familiarity but simply perfect for my palate.
Anyone have any other good must try whiskeys? Prefer blends.
I was gifted a 38 y/o "stone of destiny" for my wedding.
Have yet to try it.
That seems very old stock , Anything fresh :P
Is this a blend of 21 year old whiskeys OR a blend of various whiskeys of which 1 is 21 years old?
the youngest whisky is at least 21 years old
Good stuff.
