        Sorry to ask but can this be used for both carpet and tiles (mostly carpet) I have a Dyson animal but I’m pretty sure it’s going to give us soon and need to get a vacuum ASAP

    I would guess V8 from Dyson is a lot better than G10. You would need to go up in models on Xiaomi for comparability.

      The v8 dyson has 115aw of suction compared to the 150 of the xiaomi g10

        Thanks. But Animal version does not come with the Fluffy cleaner head for Hard surfaces.
        Absolute comes with both Fluffy cleaner head and Direct drive cleaner head

  The Dyson refurbs at $400 on the v8 was ok .. they all look new though so not sure what they actually refurbish

  Full power lasts about 7min. Pretty average but depends on your needs. I’m looking at sending my new V8 back for a Dreame T20 due to average performance.
