  • $749 is a lot!

I wonder if there is a non-Dyson brand that works well.

The tineco models are highly regarded as well. The tineco s6 is on sale, similar style - cordless.

    • Tineco, a sub brand of ecovacs.

    • I have a bissell and it's fantastic. Half the price and works really well.

you have to be careful with these wet floor cleaners, you generally can't use them on floating/laminate floors.

      • Which Bissell model?

      • @coffeeinmyveins
        Which one?

      • I got the Bissell Crosswave. The maneuverability on it is terrible. Very top heavy. Can't really get into nooks. It also doesn't fully clean corners and edges due to the design of the head.

You end up spending more time cleaning the internal parts than actually mopping. Otherwise, the parts will stink.

Still yet to find a decent wet vac. But for now, a bucket and mop suffices.

        • I'm using the SpinWave Cordless Electric Mop and it works fine.

seems like you have a jack of all trades master of none.

          • @coffeeinmyveins: You might be right. You should've specified that earlier though as the Tineco S6 and Dyson WashG1 are both marketed for vacuum and mop. Where as the SpinWave is just an electric mop, no vacuum.

Still, the SpinWave does look good though!

      Tineco s5 for $449
My S3 just died after 4 years of abuse!

This product sucks. No drying function no vacuum function. Dyson should have said this is a prototype product not ready for release

    • yup its shit.
i tried it in the dyson store and the worker didn't have much idea about it

      • those rollers stink up like mad and take so long to air dry

    • Also bought and returned, it’s not ready

  • A question about electric mops as a whole, do they leave the floors very wet? And would they be suitable for SPC hybrid flooring?
