The Dell equivalent* is about $400 on sale (pretty regularly).

    • Hi mrtee, which model would that Dell monitor that compares to this one be? Been thinking of getting 2 * 27" 2k monitors, and haven't made up my mind about which ones yet… I work from home in IT (databases, many excels, code, programming, etc etc). Thanks in adv

I love my Dell 27 4K IPS UHD 60Hz Monitor S2721Q IPS which I bought for roughly $250 during last Dell sale. Previously I had LG 4K IPS 60Hz for double the price.

        S2721DGF

        • That's a 165Hz model?

@nafe: Yep! But only on display port. HDMI only supports 144hz from memory. Bought one last sale for 399 and I absolutely love it. Just waiting for another sale to go for a dual monitor setup!

            • @Jardon: Very good deal! Will keep an eye out as an extra gaming monitor. Cheers!

Pretty much same specs for only $299 (with promo code)

    • The main difference is LCD vs IPS.

      • VA VS IPS…

  • I can't justify this over the 399 Dell S2721DGF…. same panel, better built and customer service from Dell..

Yes these panels are made by LG. so theoretically they should have larger margin and can provide better price.

    • I'm surprised that Dell has better customer service than anybody. I've heard nothing but negative about them.

Well, three years advanced replacement warranty beats 99% customer services
