What about it
Faster and cheaper.
I like the background noise removal tool for audio in the RTX series.
@beeepbooop: Oh nice, there's many ways to do it by the look of that link. :)
@Heaps for Cheaps: yea, the only thing I'd toss between team red/green is the titles you might want to play, the newest games usually favor one or the other, but in terms of basic value for money, it's usually the RX6000 series that seems to be better off than the RTX3000 series cards
I'm hoping to get a good deal on them, but they get OOS at around $700 quite fast, and no lhr too
No, I bought the 6600 XT and regretted it.
Screen tearing, PC lag, monitor flickering
To me, performance is worst than the 3060 that I also had prior to this.
Have you cleared the Nvidia driver completely using DDU?
Yep, uninstalled game as well and now re-downloading so see if it's the game or the card
Either way my experience hasn't been great tbh
No issues at all with my 6600XT running two 32" 1440P 144Hz monitors.
BUT GW2 runs like crap on it (40FPS) and if you want it for GW2 your best with Nvidia due to the DX9 code used for GW2 being only optimized to run on NVIDIA.
Just play Warzone. Lags as hell, can't multitask in windows (used to be able to with my 3060), choppy, GPU temp doesn't show in game, FPS hovers around 70-80 at 2k resolution with high settings. Even the lobby / menu is chopped up
I can't figure out if it's the card or the game. Currently re-downloading the game to test it out.
Tried AC Valhalla at Ultra settings - no screen issues just bit slow FPS at 41
Running 144hz 34 inch Mi monitor through DP
@alz: The 6600xt is suppose to be a 1080P card because of the memory bandwidth, for 1440P, 6700xt or up.
Nvidia Reflex is the only reason why I still go for Nvidia GPUs. Plus, RTX voice/Nvidia Broadcast.
Does it actually help? Because according to Gamers Nexus it's snake oil, but according to HUB it's a godsend.
hmmmmm
Go an extra 100-150 when a wild 3060Ti is spotted for $850-900.
yeh at this price 3060ti is better.
600 and below is when 3060s should be considered imo
so maybe when the 5060 is released in 2023/24…lol
Is that 12Gb?
3060ti's are 8gb
I wonder why it's listed under GPU Card Swap Option>RTX 3060
That's what I noticed, but every card they have is listed under the same category.
Probably to prevent bot spam? I dunno
they have an array of cards that are not purchasable - only customers who have a existing order with an og RTX card are then allowed to swap orders to these new lhr ones
Aus post is the cheapest option for me in Sydney at $21.60… i would order this card if it was BLACK and not some strange gray colour :) i guess thats why they have stock of this model.
The RTX3060 will be a good buy in the next few years when they sell at or below the US$320 RRP
So I see a lot of pre-builts coming fitted with an 8GB 3060, I understand that obviously 12>8 but If its 1080p gaming mostly on the 3060, does the change in vram matter? Would it enable the card to do better at 1440p?
8GB 3060 with 256bit memory bus vs 12GB 3060 with 192bit memory bus.. If they put slower memory on the 8GB 3060 256bit models then it may not end up with more memory bandwidth then the 12GB version and the end result will be same performance but with 4GB's less ram.. cost cutting 100%
If the memory bandwidth is higher then the 8GB model maybe the better option.
Thanks guys makes more sense now. I’ve been eyeing the dell xps 8940 with 11th gen i7 and 3070. So those comments make more sense now.
I play at 3440x1440p with a 8GB video card and there are very, very few instances where the game actually demands more than 8GB RAM.
Doom Eternal at Ultra settings is one of them but no other game I've tried needs >8GB.
While the 3060 has more VRAM than 3060 Ti and above it doesn't compensate for it's lower memory bandwidth and lower core count, i.e. it's still going to perform worse in most scenarios.

3080 here and I play on 5120x1440 and 4k. I've yet to see a game ask me for more than 8.2GB and I play demanding games at maxxed settings.
Get a cheap 6600xt much better than this
I see this card support 4 x monitors.
I have an old Quadro card with 3 x monitors output but i wanted 4 monitors. If I get the Ryzen 5600G, can i use the onboard HDMI concurrently with my quadro card's 3 output?
If so, I can save $750 for not buying this particular GPU…
This product is not available to buy individually online.
Oh wow can't pre order already I was thinking of getting it earlier and was on cart but oh well. I see a few people still went to pre order.
