That's because people still use it
Isn't the PS5 out already
A worthy jump up, especially as lower end boards cant use fast ram.
B560 can use fast ram too, though no CPU OC.
Edit: nevertheless this is a great deal.
Oh really? Well i just wasted a bit on a z590 awhile back for ram speeds, dam haha
Yeah. But Z590 also has double the chipset DMI links so if you have a lot of high-speed IO concurrently e.g. 10G ethernet transfers from your NAS plus lots of NVMe SSDs transferring simultaneously, you will benefit from Z590. Plus B560 boards with reasonable VRMs are relatively close to Z590 anyway.
full ATX - check
white - check
only one functional M.2 - passeh?
has 3, one of which is PCIE 4.0
As a budget upgrade, any
Suggestions on cpu/ram prices to go with this? Bout time I kick the 2600k out the door.An i7 10700KF or i9 10850K would be a good pairing - as for ram that earlier deal on HyperX Fury ram isn't bad either.
Edit: lol just noticed you said budget - Ram is still good but might wanna go with a 10600KF instead.
Would it be worth spending more to get the 11th gen i9?
if you lack central heating, then yes ;)
11th gen i5 or i7 - yes, depending on price.
11th gen i9 is a downgrade, only 8 core 'flagship' outperformed by the significantly cheaper 5800x
I bought this at the start of the year for about 200, it's a good board. Added a cheap wifi6/bt5 card to the M.2 Key-E slot and works a treat and worked out about $90 cheaper than buying the wifi 6e variant. looks like doing that now with this one would be about $120 cheaper (at least going by umarts current pricing)
Still has a PS/2 port rofl.
