50%DISCOUNT1KGBEANS

Hi All,

We are excited to launch our freshly roast Premium Coffee Beans with a fantastic offer.

These can be bought from just $25 pickup in Ipswich, QLD, or $35 delivered for 1 week only.

Shipping will commence this week for those in early. We currently have another batch being roasted this week, and later orders will have those sent out. Please note the character of this bean takes at least 2 weeks to 'settle' to achieve the maximum flavour.

There will be a 6 bag limit per customer, and the discount only applies to the 1kg variety.

We have been selling this Coffee for a few months now, getting the roast right, and have prepared for today, where we will begin marketing the bean.

This bean produces a lot of CREMA

The Coffee King bean is best drunk with Milk as an Espresso, but we find it tastes incredible as plunger/filter coffee too.

    High-Altitude Freshly Roasted Coffee Beans

Are they Roasted High-Altitude Coffee Beans or are they roasted at a high altitude?

    How high?

Hi, Roasted locally in QLD at around Sea level

  • Good deal and I like your philosophy. I think you could do without referencing all the other brands on the about us page. I was confused why you would list them. Just my two cents.

    • Thanks, I just fixed that. It was a template page being loaded.

The regular price is $50 for a kilo?

How is this coffee originally 50 a kilo?

This is advertising, not a bargain.

    • what do you mean how?

    • +3

Roasted coffee is often 50 a kilo. 25/kg is a pretty decent price

There are heaps of roasters with coffee going for well over $50/kg. $50/kg seems about bang on average for a specialty coffee roaster, if not even slightly under these days.

      • To be fair though, those are established roasters with a large and happy customer base.

  • Only the Highest of altitude beans for me . Sub 1000m is undrinkable

You jest, but whether a coffee is grown at high altitude is one of the more useful metrics for the end-consumer because it has a very significant impact on brewing. They tend to be an order of magnitude more dense than other beans, so for a given volume they weigh much more.

For people who don't weigh their coffee, they would potentially be using several grams more for their espresso if they are judging by volume, per cup they make. You could finish the bag of beans several days earlier than expected, which may not be what someone trying to save money would want.

For those who do weigh their beans, they would notice that their basket would have significantly less ground coffee in it, which would mean they would have to grind finer than for other coffees due to less resistance (not more, despite the denser beans) to the machine's pressure.

Anyone had these before? How would it compare with Airjo or Inglewoods regular sales of $25-30/kg?

  • How is this in a moka pot? :-)

    • That's our favourite way to drink it. The only thing is you need a few around to drink with this method.

      • Thanks

  • Is there anyone here still waiting for coffee delivery for longer than 1 week?

    • yes, this has been an issue. Some were delivered today over a week since posting. Please contact us tomorrow if it still hasn't arrived. I talked to Aus Post today they said that there has been big disruptions all around the country especially Melbourne and Sydney at the moment.
