    A dock with video output or an eGPU. You can easily exceed the limits on a 40gbps cable on an eGPU setup nowadays

  Would this allow me to charge my laptop in the car, I have a cigarette charger with a USB-c port but when connected my laptop says it’s too slow

    that because your USB C in your car is not the same output as the 12V cigarette lighter. so get an adapter for that and you should be fine (depending on your car). Mine outputs 120W
