Paid with Zip via Apple Pay so yeah full $849.

$30 added straight to Zip rewards and I redeemed it straight away.

    • +1

      Hmm, I didn't get $30… zip charged me $849

      • Same here. But I haven't paid anything yet. I suspect we might have to pay it all off before the credit is applied.

        • Ah, it's under zip rewards

  • Literally processed mine just now. Must have got one of the last ones.

  • Wow out of stock as my payment was processing. Nice

      Another day, another Xbox controller.

    • +1

Wow, $1 cheaper than my PS4slim

      • +1

"I will probably sell and buy household items like dove soap beauty bars etc"
huh? what do you mean by this line?

        • -1

Like my plan is buy this sell this buy household goods like food with the profit.

          • +2

@HulkBroden: I think you should buy cryptocurrency with the profit then buy food and dove soap with the cryptocurrency

      • Go and ask the real Broden.

    • Disappointing it only comes in this colour… If there was a blue variant to match the new console I'd jump right on it

    • Aren't these prone to break? The Elite Series 2, I mean.

      • F

      • Yeah, the quality is disappointing and not a fan of integrated batteries. I got gifted one and the A button misses a lot of presses. It's a very common issue.

        • I used a toothpick to clear around the buttons and this helped on my series 1.

      • Series 1 had batteries?
Not sure how they were rated for quality though.

        • +1

Original xbox one elite controller had a hatch for either AA batteries or battery pack.

    • +3

$249 for a controller. Paylo Infinite!

    • Wow it's only $160 more expensive than a non-green painted controller. MasterChief or Masterthief?

    • Thanks for the heads up OP. Got it for $219 using the Zip Pay deal.

  • Got one half hour ago, thought it was an elite controller hence the extra $100 but see now it's just a standard controller with paint job :/

    • It is an Elite controller.

      • I mean with the console, it's a normal controller for 850

        • Right. Yeah the extra price is for the game (which will be on Gamepass) and the limited version of it I guess.

  • I think I might've snagged one of the last ones :)

  • Searching frantically for halo release date
Google shows me this instead lmao

  • -1

Wow, in the time it took to create friggin ZIP pay, it's gone from my cart… all sold out now :/

  • Someone got a link for eb?

  • Available at EB. Jump on it guys

Looks spicy AF, congrats to those who got one.

  • Yay! Snagged one from EB, Have been told by wife that it will be my Father's Day/Birthday/Xmas present. I'm cool with that :)

  • Finally got one! Now the impatient wait begins haha

  • All gone at EB as well. Any idea when/if stores are ever gonna have regular Series X's in stock normally?

  • -7

    Kinda looks ugly

  • Controller says 15 november do you guys think same for console

  • November 10th, 2020 with 389$ some got it free with $200 deposit, on eb trade in deals,

Now looking back on it such a good investment especially with covid.

Be careful with the controller, the quality control is absolutely shocking on them. The RMA rate is very high as a result. Drifting sticks, sticking face buttons are the most common issues. My A button sticks and sometimes isn't detected if you don't press it hard enough. The quality of the controller itself is very good although $250 is an absurdly high price to pay still. I really like the triggers, dpad, swappable sticks/dpad and overall texture of the controller. Also it has an internal battery that lasts 30+ hours on a single charge and a nice carrying case that doubles as a charging dock. Just wish the controller had better QC.

    • Not sure why someone would neg bringing attention to these issues with the controller.

Even Microsoft themselves have extended the warranty period from 90 days to a year: https://support.xbox.com/en-AU/help/hardware-network/control…

Not saying it's a bad controller, just be weary that they are have a higher chance of faults than a regular Xbox One or Series controller.

      • Good to know. I still use my wireless xbox 360 controller on PC and it must be around 10 years old now and still works perfectly. I was thinking about buying a elite controller but I think I will stick with the xbox 360 controller after reading this.

        • The Xbox One or Series controller is with the upgrade. They feel nicer than the 360 ones.

    • +1 I had to RMA my Elite series 2 controller for stick drift. Great controller otherwise. Surely they would have fixed the QC by now?

  • I got a free one from telstra points, That's my ozbargain story of the day :D

  • FOMO is definitely a concern of our times….

  • sold out so fast. I guess I'm playing halo on the pc then.

wait a minute this will still work on xbox one won't it?

eh probably still play on pc regardless. I'm be out of practice using a controller but you're never out of practice on a mouse and keyboard.

  • Got a controller, looks sick, cheers

  • +1

Got the controller but wish it was more like the Halo 5 Master Chief controller with the grips being green and gold/orange triggers

  • How do i find Zip Reward to see if the $30 has been applied? I been looking everywhere and nowhere to be found?

    I got:

Home Shop In-Store Cards Settings on my phone app

    Where are the ZipRewards?

Found it after updating the app.

  • controller is sold out too, so this post is expired

    • +2

More elite controllers are on the way at least for Microsoft store. In case anyone haven't been able to pre order one.
But halo console is a question mark. They have no idea.

  • There are literally 4 pages of ebay listings for the console. Over 200 consoles (probably 400 depending on the amount each scalper has bought) that are listed :(

    • Shit I hate scalpers, I hope someone scalps them oxygen some day

Wouldn't even pay a dollar for any satanist products.
F%#k greedy theft evil gates and satan$oft…
Wake up kids and start boycotting them!

FYI if you missed out on this earlier…

US stores had a restock of this console bundle today. I'll be watching Australian stores tomorrow.

If any good Samaritans here post a deal, it would be great to get one before the bots and scalpers do their thing.
