I'd 100% recommend getting the Google Chromecast over the Firestick. I've owned both, had the Firestick first and it goes slow after awhile, ever since I've switched to Google Chromecast, it is heaps better and can even install Kayo if you watch sports. Which you can't install the application on the Firestick.
Could someone please confirms whether this stick do allow installing VPN applications?

Pretty sire you can side-load the on but be warned that the Prime video app won't let you stream with your VPN on.

Just wondering if anyone have successfully plug this on the car media system HDMI to work? Thinking to do it since have a touch monitor in the car. Saw YouTube that people can play PS on it. Guess would work with firestick?
Might be a dumb question - but if I want to plug this into a non-smart 1080p TV, will the lack of HDCP support on my TV cause a problem?
Or does HDCP only become a factor for 4K?
Hi All, I'm currently using a Chromecast 3rd gen to stream netflix/youtube from phone to 'dumb' tv. Is there any benefit of the Fire Stick, other than having a remote with voice control? Will I get a better picture quality or anything? Thanks
