  • why 970g?

    • +8

Australia Post charges extra for the weight of our packaging. We do not want to pass this on to our customers as we want to remain competitive in price. It makes sense if we allow for our packaging weight and avoid this cost. Hope this makes sense.

Placed an order. I'm enjoying the opportunity for experimenting lockdown has afforded.

I'm usually such a stick in the mud, and drive over to my two or three preferred roasters around Sydney, but I've found some absolute crackers with these deals.

    • Who sells the best beans in your opinion?

      • +1

        I've got a few favourites:

        • Coffee Alchemy
        • Aslan Roasters
        • SingleO

And from OzB, my best new discovery has been Black Drum roasters - really impressed with the quality of their beans. Will be ordering again.

        • +1 Coffee Alchemy - have been a fan of theirs for a long time!

@sw00p: One of the few who can manage a darker roast without burning it - their Hairy Chest is a must if you're feeling like an italian style espresso.

    • Any recommendations? I need to stock up

If you want to try someone who's posted a deal here before, Black Drum. Really good stuff.

        • I think Black Drum is fine, but their geisha's were not worth the money, and generally their prices aren't great. But I only cold brew or immersion brew, so I can believe having an espresso machine changes things. Here is my general ranking of coffees that are regularly available.

          Five Senses
          Veneziano Coffee
          Industry Beans
          Coffee Supreme
          Fox Coffee
          Black Drum
          Di Bartoli
          Inglewood

    • thank you for your order, much appreciated!

      • Happy to! Glad to be able to try new beans.

  • Hi Rep - do you offer FILTER roast?

    • Hi Keepingtrack,
We omni roast and most of our coffee beans are roasted to a medium roast, so they are all suitable for filter brewing as well as espresso. Depending on which flavour profile you prefer we recommend the Ethiopia for a fruity citrusy profile. We recommend Brazil or Colombia for a richer chocolatey profile.

      Hope this helps.

      Kind Regards
