    I wonder how they've come up with "up to 14 business days", I mean it's more than 2 calendar weeks, but less than 3 weeks.

      The Everyday Rewards team were probably throwing darts at a calendar and came up with that number that way.

      It is interesting it is 14 business days for this offer. Generally, you have to wait 5 business days (or 5 NSW business days for transactions at non-EG-owned Caltex/Ampol fuel stations) before you can complain to the Everyday Rewards team that your points have not showed up.

    Sorry total noob question here as never used these Everyday Rewards to purchase Gift Cards to then claim bonus reward points to then purchase something from another store. (Sorry know it's not very OzBargain-esque but getting there)

    So if I was planning on buying something from JB HiFi for $400 then I purchase the gift cards through Woolies & Everday Rewards will earn 8000 points based on OP "$50 = 1000, $100 = 2000, Variable = 20x spend" which then equals about $40 to spend at Woolies?

      Yep, your maths is correct.

      You can redeem Everyday Rewards dollars at Woolworths, BIG W, BWS and most Caltex Woolworths (EG) fuel stations, but you cannot redeem any Everyday Rewards dollars on Everyday Market from Woolworths.

      However, keep in mind that you cannot use Everyday Rewards dollars to pay for the following:

      • all smoking products
      • gift cards (including Woolworths WISH Gift Cards, e-gift cards and iTunes)
      • mobile recharge
      • Woolworths Mobile
      • travel cards
      • tickets
      • cash outs
      • delivery charges
      • donations
      • lottery products
      • Carpet Care
      • Pre-Order Kiosks
      • BIG W Photos
      • BIG W eBay
      • lay-by-fees, and
      • purchases using a StarCard or AmpolCard, a Country Age Pension Fuel Card or on a charge account.

      You cannot directly use the TCN Him gift card from this deal on the JB Hi-Fi online store, as physical TCN Him gift cards are actually EFTPOS gift cards that can only be used specific businesses.

      However, you can exchange a TCN Him gift card on the TCN website for a JB Hi-Fi digital gift card, which can be used on the JB Hi-Fi website (or in-store).

          The TCN gift cards sold at Woolworths can only be purchased in-store. You cannot purchase any TCN gift cards from Woolworths’ online store.

            Sorry I just realised you aren't the OP. I wanted to find the specific offer where the information was from provided in the OPs post.

            The link only takes me into the general catalogue area and I needed to flick through the catalogue to find the info. I thought maybe it was on website banner or something like that, not a inset in the catalogue. Know for next time.

            But I've found it now (pg 33 of Weekly Specials Catalogue VIC Wed 25 Aug - Tue 31 Aug 2021 for anyone else playing along haha).

            Anyway thanks for your help anyway.

            @WookieMonster: Thanks mate for stepping me through this. Very comforting for first time.

            Bought the TCN cards (only had $100 cards no variable valued cards available) at Woolies, then jumped TCN online to transfer into JB vouchers.

            Emails with new JB vouchers took a little while to all get into my inbox (a little call was made to push any lagging emails - also note to check Junk Mail inbox) but all worked fine and have an extra points to spend on groceries at Woolies and will have JB deliver my goods by tonight. Easy.

            Will keep my eye out for similar deals in future. Thanks again. Just absolute Legends.

          This assumes you are on a computer or laptop… I have no idea what the layout is like on the mobile website…

          • Go to the TCN HIM gift card page.

          • Click/tap on How to use.

          • Where it says Select a Retailer in a dropdown list, click/tap on it and select JB Hi-Fi.

          • To the right of the dropdown list, you’ll see options for Instore and Online. Click/tap on Online.

          • The page will display instructions on how you can redeem your TCN gift card for a JB Hi-Fi digital gift card. Click/tap on Proceed and follow the steps to exchange your TCN gift card with a JB Hi-Fi gift card!

      I think Woolworths generally limits you to ten gift cards per transaction, but there is no limit to the number of transactions where you can earn bonus points. You should be able to verify the number of points you will be credited for the transaction by looking at the top right-hand corner of the payment screen at the checkout.

      However, I think a small issue is that your local store may not stock 10x TCN HIM cards at once. My local Woolworths stores stock a relatively small number of TCN gift cards (if any) when compared to Coles, and I don’t recall seeing any store stocking more than five or six TCN HIM gift cards at once, but you may be lucky!

          Yes, prepaid EFTPOS/Mastercard/Visa gift cards are fine.

          (For future reference, if you have a gift card where you can check the gift card balance here, you cannot use it to purchase any gift cards at Woolworths or BIG W.)
