  • Any deals on 34 inch screens? Or 49?

  • -2

The monitors are out of stock…

    • +1

"Stock will drop at 12pm! These deals are not out of stock."

  • Any good 22" or 24" deals? Looking for a second monitor to have portrait on the side. Stand doesn't matter as it will go on a arm but will obviously need to be VESA.

  • I'm hoping someone might be able to help me. I've got a HP elitebook 840 G6. If I get a USB C dock for it. Will I be able to run two of the DGF monitors of it? The dock I'm thinking is D600 or any suggestions would be great too. TIA

  • Is it worth upgrading from the x34p to the dgf monitor? X34p is maxed at 100hz

    • 34" Ultrawide 100hz to a 27" 16:9 IPS at 165Hz?

Not worth it unless you are a competitive gamer with a Radeon 6800 or RTX 3080 or higher IMHO.

X34P to AW3821DW… well that's a different story. Even more so with those graphics cards.

  • Looking for advice / someone to convince me to buy even though… read below:

I already have a S2721QS which I use for work / occasional series x gaming (when wife wants TV which is 60hz 4K).

I have been considering picking up the S2721DGF to use as a second monitor to use for work and then to facilitate 120hz on certain games.

I use a Dell XPS 13 9305 for work - I know these two monitors have different resolutions, if I were to use a dell docking station would there be any issues being that these two have different native resolutions?

Why does ebay report out of stock?
    Am I missing something?

      Yes, you're missing something.

      • At least I'm not lost in canberra :)

        • Eh! I must be very lost. It appears that I'm in Melbourne…

    • +3

Oh wait yeah, it'd help if I read.

      • There it is…

How much of a pain in the butt is signing up for Afterpay? I would rather just buy it normally.

Can you get the same price without Afterpay?

    • I just signed up and have been given a limit of 600 bucks, so I can't actually buy anything with the discount as it only applies to AP sales. Wish I'd known beforehand, had my hopes up for this sale.

      • Same thing for me. This is pretty ridiculous. Why is there no option to just transfer credit into your account to mitigate this? Oh right, it's because Afterpay's business model is relying on late payment fees. Frustrating.

        • Ridiculous and the guys who started AfterPay became billionaires almost overnight.

What a ridiculous and easily duplicated business model with little barrier to entry.

        • buy ebay gift cards and ad them until the cost is under your limit. 2% off at shockback and 3% maquarie though i didnt look far so those are probably rookie numbers for gc deals.

          • @xentar: One monitor was under the $600 limit, so I ended up buying one, immediately paying it off and then buying the second one. Worked out well!

      • buy ebay gift cards to make it under your limit1

  • +1

    S3222DGM ??

    • Yeah I want this too

  • Still waiting a delivery on my order for S2721DGF from the last 28/7 post.
Says Estimated delivery Fri, 03 Sep - Tue, 14 Sep

  • -1

    S2721QS please!

  • +1

    Good deals, good deals.

    Afterpay sucks however.

  • +3

Can I just use my credit card? And not use Afterpay lol

    • Last time this was possible, not sure if they fix the loophole.

  • 12pm AEST?

  • I'm looking at getting 3 monitors. Is it worth just getting 3 of the Dell S2721DGF even if only one will be used for gaming? I could get 1 of them and 2 cheaper but it's not much more expensive than S2721D when on special and has better colour.

    • In my experience matching monitors feels right. If it was me, get same resolution, size and refresh rate.

  • I'm after a good monitor for my wife to connect her mac book air

  • Would people recommend the S2721DGF for wfh or would one of the 4K or other monitors be better in the long run?

  • It's live.

  • Price didn't change for S3221QS?

    • This is going on sale later.

  • Price changed for XPS but showing up as $2,299

    • Used the code? AFPYDY15

      • I didnt think you could if item is over 2k, i tried with a different Dell laptop that was 2.5k and wouldn't let me

  • thanks for this OP. was able to get one. =)

  • Code AFPYDY15 is not changing the price for S2721DGF

    • i think you need to use AfterPay? i was able to get one for $399.

      • Yes, I am setting the payment method as Afterpay, adding the code, and getting this message: "This code can't be applied to your order."

        • I also tried using AFPYDY15 and was unable to get it to $399
I kept getting this message: "This code can't be applied to your order."

        • that's exactly what I did just a while ago.

          Order total:
          Price AU $469.41
          Postage Free
          Gift cards, vouchers -AU $70.41

Total charged to AfterPay AU $399.00

          • @escaleraRN: And you used the link above?

            • @OhItsPeej: yep. same link as above. i tried it again just now. i can place another order, but would rather give chance for others to buy as well. plus, not a fan of dual monitor setup. =)

              • @escaleraRN: Still not working for me :(

                • @daniltaru: maybe try to refresh the browser? and start over?
dunno if this will work tho, no harm in trying.
goodluck. estimated shipping is 17/09 - 28/09. not holding my breath anymore.

                • +3

@daniltaru: Got it to work. I used Microsoft Edge and I didn't sign in to my ebay account.

  • XPS 13 was $1864 about a week ago in the other recent 20% off sale, after one but wont go for it at this price.

    • Works out to a lower price if it is 1999 - 15% APT discount

      • What is this APT discount you speak of mate?
It ends up being 1999 after the afterpay code

  • When I try and order something over $1,500 it says that Afterpay limit is $1,500. Anyway to get around this?

    • Says 2,000 for me

    • Had the same problem. Just went and bought a physical eBay gift card from Woolies to bring me under my AfterPay limit, and that worked. Applied the gift card first, then the AfterPay voucher, and it worked for the discounted price.

  • AFPYDY15 isn't able to be applied for S2721DGF, have messaged Dell to ask why

    • Got it to work. I used Microsoft Edge and I didn't sign in to my ebay account.

  • No price change for S3221QS as of yet :c

  • +1

Can't order the XPS, the discount code won't work because I don't have Afterpay selected and I cant select Afterpay because the total is over $2000.

  • +2

Picked up a DGF, thank you!
Hopefully doesn't take forever to ship..

    • Were you able to apply the code?

      • Yes after selecting Afterpay, it gives you an option to add it

  • SIGH I went to order 2x DGFs which is $800 but I've never used Afterpay and my limit is $600 apparently, and cannot put in 2 orders within the first 24 hours. Well there goes that deal.

EDIT: Any ideas on how to increase my spending limit initially?

    • Buy ebay giftcards from Shopback app and pay with those to get it under your $600 limit and then pay balance via afterpay.

    • Don't think that it is possible.

      • +1

It is possible, I just did it.

Brought the below ebay voucher from Shopback (with 3% discount)
        3 x $100
        1 x $50
        1 x $25

Balance was $25 to pay via Afterpay. I think you just can't bring it down to $0.

    • +2

Found a workaround. Bought one DGF for $400, paid off all payments early which brought the limit back up to $600 and then bought the second monitor. Not sure if there are any early payment fees, sure hope not!

  • thanks OP, bought one of the curved ones for WFH and a little bit of gaming.

  • Thanks! Brought to upgrade my 2nd monitor!

    Dell 27 Inch Gaming Monitor S2721DGF QHD QHD 2560 x 1440 - $399
    Dell 27 Curved Gaming Monitor – S2722DGM 165Hz 1ms QHD - $329

is it worth getting the more expensive one? what are the differences apart from one being curved?

    • +1

VA vs IPS. Read some of the earlier posts in this thread, or earlier threads.

IPS is cheaper. You will black smearing etc.

    • +1

      S2721DGF - IPS
      S2722DGM - VA

    • Dell 27 Inch Gaming Monitor S2721DGF QHD QHD 2560 x 1440 - $399 VA Panel

      Dell 27 Curved Gaming Monitor – S2722DGM 165Hz 1ms QHD - $329 ISP

      • Jalana says the otherwise? Which one is IPS?

        • Sorry my bad, Jalana is correct

  • Appreciate any input re the below:

I can't decide if it would be better to just have 1x 34 Xiaomi Mi Curved 34 or would it be better to purchase 2x S2722DGM or 2x S2721DGF.

Casual gaming here and there, mostly will be used for work - excel spreadsheets and power point etc.

    • +2

I have the Xiaomi, and my DGF from last deal came yesterday, initial impression playing fps is much smoother and better colour, blacks not as good but doesn't bother me.
I kept switching between the 2 playing an fps Destiny 2 and the DGF just seems to handle movement significantly better.
Using the Xiaomi as a secondary display now but thinking of selling it for a second DGF

      • Awesome, thank you for the input. Much appreciated.

    • Can't go wrong with a single or dual S2721DGF. Best quality and performance, at this price it's a bargain.

    • I bought the DGF and QS both 27inch. Great for gaming on the single monitor and brilliant for the 2 together for work. They both have a similar bezel and the stands are very similar. I used to have a curved 32 and went to this setup. Much better for work productivity in my opinion. With a big of tweaking on the colours you can almost get them to match. You really don't need 2 ( as you are ever only gaming on one) . However if you want the aesthetics and exact colours then ho for it

  • +1

Xiaomi 34" as well for anyone that was waiting for it
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/645501

    • Would gaming be rubbish on the 34" with an RTX 3050? deciding between the Xiaomi 34" or 2x S2721DGF - Primarily using for WFH but want the option of some gaming.

      • Yep. A laptop 3050 will struggle hard to play current games at a reasonable framerate at full resolution and without turning everything to low.

  • Advice please: when watching Twitch gaming (FPS) streams or YouTube, is a 60Hz monitor sufficient? Or does a higher refresh rate monitor such as the ones listed here make FPS game movements look smoother (on the stream, not as a player)?

    • +3

60hz will be sufficient as it would only make a difference if they specifically streamed above 60hz (which I haven't seen anywhere)

  • Got a Dell Inspiron14 7400 for a great price! New Inspiron14 7400 Laptop 11th Gen i7-1165G7 16GB RAM 1TB SSD GeForce MX350

  • +1

Are these shipping dates right? everything seems to be shipped around September.

  • Thanks OP! Great price on the SG2721. Got another SG2721 to match the one I got last year $531.

  • Thanks Op, bought 2.

What’s the eta for a tracking number for Dell?

  • Hmmm… Hold out for a better price for the S2721D or get the S2721DGF? Use case: watching anime and movies, light weight games (Terraria, Stardew Valley, Disco Elysium), and WFH

  • I have the Legion Y530 i7 8th gen, and GTX1060.

    Wil the Dell G15 5515 Gaming Laptop Ryzen 5 5600H 8GB 256GB RTX 3050 be a upgrade?

    Seems like, not really?

      Nope. Not worth it.
