[VIC] Little Creatures Pale Ale 24x 330ml $30.36 + Delivery or Free Pick up @ Woolworths

I am still learning to post a deal properly, so please excuse if there are mistakes:

So yes I tried ordering some Ale yesterday, I went to Woolworths Website (Not BWS) ordered Little Creature Pale Ale bottles. The website says 24 bottles for $54, so I put 2 case in my cart and it got further reduced to just $60.72 for 2 case (excluding delivery). There is pick up or direct to boot option also available.

My order got delivered today and I ordered 3 more cases for a friend. Just got notified they have only 2 cases in stock so I will get a refund for 1 case. Some of you might get lucky if it is in stock at your local store.

  • just retrieved a voicemail message from 6:30pm from woolworths online (not my local store) to call back…havent called yet. was due to pickup in the morning
    anyone else get a call or picked up or had delivery yet?

      Just got the 'Out of Stock' SMS from my local. Not surprised

        im gonna wait until 9 (my slot) and see what happens

  • just went to pickup. was only able to get half my allotted cases…a little disappointed but still a great deal

    -they wouldnt / werent able to provide a substitute beer (doh!)
    -looks like theyve stuffed up my billing as well somehow (used rewards dollars & paypal)
    -now im waiting for a call from them to work out billing issue and refund

    ..good luck everyone & be nice to the staff when dealing with them :)
    also you can login to your account to see if your order is ready for collection prior to your pickup time….i got in over half an hour earlier

    Got my pickup notification. Looks like they are honouring where stock permits.

    • yep my local said they cancelled another bunch of orders after mine…limited stock around being LC

  • spoke to CS just now…refund sorted and $15 online voucher because its not the first time ive been disappointed and not been able to get my beer ;)

    yep they are refunding with store credit, i don't want store credit..

      no…insist on refund to payment method. they did my PP refund on the phone and by the time i hung up it was processed and in my inbox

      • ahh they are saying they will convert to an e-gift card (orig payment method) on the phone. i can't get this $15 voucher though

          you cant insist on a voucher…however you can suggest it & see what happens.
          this wasnt my first liquor order they couldnt fulfill, i was able to point that out and CS could see that i was genuine so they were happy to throw me a voucher for the inconvenience

  • I got a missed call this morning from them, trying to call back to see what's going on. Hoping they will still honour it.

        Yup, they did try to cancel my order, told them I don't want to, considering there are other stores around me that has stock. After back and forth on online chat (guy couldn't help) and then on the phone with customer service, they spoke to the actual store and they ended up "re-issuing" the slabs and set a different pick up date (this weekend) and hopefully by then they'll have stock.

        They will all try to convince you to cancel and take a refund and reorder, but don't take that bait.

          yeh they know they messed up pretty bad on this one and are trying to mitigate loss..its pretty obvious

    I ordered 2 slabs of Little Creatures, then another order for 8 x 6pks Mountain Goat.

    They only had 3 x 6pks Mountain Goat, so substituted the rest with Little Creatures with no price increase. No complaints here.. I expected to see a short best by date, suprised it's early 2022.
