Would be a nightmare if you got the wrong size too

easy if you know, and can try on anywhere..
Got a few pairs of UB19, pretty good
Sometimes it's just easier to go to DFO when there's a 40% off sale (Nike etc)

        • Not so much at the moment for alot of people but yeah true..

          • @solidussnake: Yes true, didn't mean it like that (but in ordinary times). Good if you find/like a style or brand and then online ordering is easier (but not always)

        • Adidas shop at Brisbane DFO Friday 13/8, had extra 40% off store wide.
          example:
Ultraboost 21 usually $270 reduced to $189 then less another 40% to $ 113.40 - limited range and sizes
Ultraboost 20 usually $260 reduced to $180 then less another 40% to $ 108 - limited range and sizes
Everything in store was extra 40% off.
          Staff were also very helpful.
Sadly the DFO Lindt shop was not as exciting.

@CheepAsChips: Same with Nike, 40% off and the staff recommend downloading the app to get another 10% off, quite good. Got some metcon 6 for $70. Fun online shopping though

    • Why do all people say it's no customer service or bad customer service? I've been using Kogan for many years, customer server is very good comparing to others. They support to fix problems, send replacements, or refund… The quality is also not bad, actually quality is good with that price.

I prefer the 10$ shoes from Puma. Have they forgotten the color on these shoes?

Amex offer - Kogan spend $100 and get back $20.

    • That has expired?

      • Expires on 9/9 but they may have reached the max saved or only on certain Amex if you can’t see the offer.

  • Size 21, finally something that fits my feet …

  • +3

These look really nice but it's guaranteed they will look filthy about 5min after you put them on!

    • +2

I throw them in the washing machine under cold water settings.

They always come out looking almost new.

I do this at least once every 2-3 months with my white sneakers (especially ultraboosts)

      • hmm tempting!

  • +3

Whats RRP on these? Runners for $129 plus delivery doesn't seem that great unless they some limited edition top of the line model.

    • +2

      $190-280 - they're ultraboosts lol

    • +1

They are the top of the line ultraboosts

    • They're always on sale at this price HypeDC had them delivered for $129 so they went quick

  • I wish I could wear these shoes. I bought some cheap on one of these deals and they are amazing, but the arches absolutely kill me.

    • +1

So not so amazing after all then?

      • They are amazing, the build quality and comfort but they just aren't suited to my feet. If you normally wear neutral shoes these will be very bad for you.

        • If you have wide feet they recommend size up half size to full size

Personal experience- Not sure if they worth it at $129 if you're planning on to wear it casually or for moderate running. Bought 20 and DNA last year along with a Kmart sneaker for $30 for casual use. Kmart one feels more agile suitable for casual use. After wearing DNA for 2 hours, started having pain near ankle joints.

I think for casual walking and for moderate running I cannot spend more than $30 on a sneaker anymore.

    • Not sure why ppl are negging you without giving any reasoning

      • +1

I don't why ppl are negging when he is giving his personal experience. (if anything it should be a +, one would think).

      • -2

Some people just expect something for nothing or used to dirt cheap deals. That's great if he's happy with Kmart joggers and they work, but perhaps they simply aren't suited to his foot - not worth down voting the deal either, just not suitable. Go for a decent run would be rubbish.

I paid about $127 (minus whatever cashback perhaps), better than 260 or whatever rrp is, not that you'd pay that.

Zapwap - Everything is fine until it's broken.
Agreed I'll wear my Big W Kmart $2 sneekers, Chinese riding boots (AKA thongs) in the house and maybe to Westfield, reasonably safe flat territory.
But outside of that I want the protection offered by the more advanced "high tech" logos.
As for your comment "After wearing DNA for 2 hours, started having pain near ankle joints", if you haven't already, I would be investigating the cause.
      IMHO.

      • +1

if you haven't already, I would be investigating the cause.
        IMHO.

Why would you? If you're happy with $30 sneaker's performance and it is lasting as long as "high tech" logos. I think I learned it the hard way, but as they say YMMV.

I am not a fanboy so dont think it's necessary to investigate anything, I am a consumer and will go with what suits me best after trying.

        • +1

Just need shoes That suit your foot type, it's as simple as that. Some people need arch support some don't, depending if you pronate or have flat feet etc. It sounds like those $30 jobbies work for you which is great, would you still buy them for $130?

Fanboi and logos is a bit irrelevant, every brand makes a wide variety of shoes if you were an Adidas fanboy if you get any three stripe stuff that looks Street credible, but the ultraboost are actually decent runners and super comfy. Plenty of colourways too, don't have to get all white.

  • Also available for women’s and more colours

  • these look clean AF in person

  • I just got mine from Hype DC. Wasn’t a good fit and is costing me $15 for the return!

    • +3

Personal preference. I got mine from hype this week and have taken out for two runs and they're my new favourite shoe. Feels like I've got the perfect fit and so comfortable I don't think about my feet at all now. Very happy. Kayanos going in the bin, ghosts will gather dust

      • -1

Careful you might get negged for giving your personal experience.

        • He is safe. Didn't offend the Adidas fanboys.

        • +1

Some people like BMW some people like Mercedes lol

Just go to athletes foot and get measured up some time.

          • @G-rig: Naah..G-rig here is an invalid pensioner trying to do the right thing.
Know someone who tried that, bought pair of Brooks used them twice got sore feet, athletes foot said they were on clearance no exchange or refund. Went into lifeline bin.
About 12 months later tried again at Athletes Foot, bought Asics Kayano 26 worn about 6 times, got sore feet. Athletes Foot didn't want to know about it.
Turns out the person has diabetes and feet swell, questions never asked at Athletes Foot, but info that was found on ozbargain.
On Friday they bought Adidas UltraBoost 20 from Brisbane DFO for $108. Fit like a sock should be ok. Sales staff really helpful.

            • +1

@CheepAsChips: Agree, Just got to do your own research and know what works or doesn't from prior experience and shoes, can't rely on most retail staff . I don't know if athletes foot give long warranties like that lol.

It's helpful to know if you need arch support or not, everyone's feet are different but not that hard to know if something feels right or shit
