piece of garbage… and beware; they driver-lock the mouse to not operate on any other branded PC (even Dell!)
That’s a bit silly if true
Its not.
Um. Yeh it is mate.
I had 30+ phone calls and email support tickets logged with Dell lvl2 and lvl3 support. The management software blocks ALL PCs except Alienware branded PCs, therefore you can use it as a regular mouse, but without any lights or speed controls, preferences, etc. The only way to get it to work is to downgrade the drivers to an older version from early 2020, but the locked auto-update keeps installing the new version, which shows a big error on startup stating it's being used on a non-alienware branded PC.
I even had tickets with the driver dev team (I am a coder) and they tabled the fork that would allow optional patches.
Anyway, so much for trying to help others… this is what you get i suppose - feel free to waste your money lol
I got the 610M and have used it at least on 5 different systems, Dell, Acer, Alienware, Asus, and Toshiba.
Dude, i also bought the 610M - how long ago did you buy yours?

Anyway, so much for trying to help others… this is what you get i suppose - feel free to waste your money lolI reckon 6 months ago. I'm not doubting your word but this seems extremely strange, all my peripherals are Alienware( keyboard, mouse, headset) i have never had an issue with any of them using different laptops/computers.
If I may recommend, try to a clean uninstall of all the Dell and Alienware drivers from your PC, this includes the registry, document folder and system32 and try to install the drivers again.
Do. Not. Buy. Sorry OP but they couldn't pay us to use one of these.
What's exactly wrong with this mouse?
Why take a risk on this POS
What's wrong though?
As i said in other comments, which for some reason people got sensitive and downvoted:

Definitely not worth $62. You could get a Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed for this price and that thing is leagues ahead.
I have one of these and haven't had any issues with it.
I bought the 610M for $128 on sale. Biggest regret. I think my Kmart 16000dpi performs about the same.
I got the 310m mouse free with the monitor sale because they sent the monitor late. The back of the mouse thats like an arrow is kinda pointless and literally pokes at the edge of my palm(close to the wrist). Glad I didnt have to pay for it. Its back in its box for emergency use only.
Symmetrical.
