All good mate, congrats on your first post. Hope to see more👍

  • Good offering if you can't wait, but if you can I would advise to wait for one of these to come back (Samsung 34" 1440) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/630464

The resolution is a bit low. Affordable option though. Perhaps OK for gaming, i'll avoid for home office.

DPI is fine. It is the same of 24inch fhd.

    • Cheaper to buy 2x 21" 1920x1080 + monitor arms.

    • Was looking to buy a ultrawide monitor purely for home office and was confused between this one and the LG flat panel ips, 75 hz, 5 ms option. Why is this not good for home office?

      • Depends on what you are used to, but personally I would aim for at least 110 PPI for productivity.
Having said that if you are used to FHD on 24" then you will be fine with the resolution of this.
21:9 29" is even shorter than a 16:9 24" (by around 7mm), so it doesn't give you much vertical real estate, so just make sure it is what you are looking for before you commit.

    100hz is "Gaming"?…

    This or LG29W600?

I have both. I think the LG screen looks nicer with its IPS display but I actually use the Kogan more because the curve makes using it a lot more comfortable
