It is instore only on the 16GB, availability check reveals there are only 3 available in the whole of Australia. Not really the most accessible bargain. The more expensive models can be bought online though.
I wouldnt be getting an iPad now though, especially considering ipad 3 will be announced 7th of march and released shortly after. That will have a shift in the market prices.
Not sure that the iPad 3 is going to be anything exciting, but will likely lead to lower tablet prices for iPads and other tablets.
There was also a comment comparing an iPad to a newer Android. The iPad seems to have the market, and iPad 1 specs are still good. Me and many others have and regularly use an iPad 1 and are not planing on upgrading anytime soon.
Probably best to hold off on this deal for now and wait 1 month to see lower prices.
It is a good deal particularly for the 3G. However "Refurbished by EB games" sets off a few alarm bells and my iPad 1 is running very slow I guess after all the updates.
ipad 1 and refurbished for that price?? there was a deal for an android tablet on here for $299 which is newer and probably much better specs.

People get excited about anything Apple, it does not mean the price is all that great.
My comment is against Apple its wasting peoples time but when its against Android its not?

price looks OK but not sure about ipad1 aged battery life.
eb's refurb ipad2 prices are comparatively GOOD,
cheaper then Ebay recent auctions (ebay ipad2 16Gb 3G =560, eb=538)
and eb provides 3or6 mths warranty too.

The "refurbished by eb games" is scary. I've had to take back 3 "refurbished by eb games" psp consoles in the last 2 weeks. Quality control isn't great.
Although the price is good I'm upgrading from my ipad 1 to the ipad 3 simply because it's too slow now and new games and apps require more than the ipad 1 can put out.
Would probably be better off getting the ipad 2 cheap when the 3rd is released.
They aren't really "refurbished", as in "touched by a human, fully checked and reconditioned".
