I am trying to unlock Vodafone Pocket Wifi modem (Huawei E585) to use in Europe for 2 months.

    If you have a Pocket Wifi 2 (850MHz support), it won't work. Hopefully you have the first version!
    
    There used to be a guy on WP who'd send you an Pocket Wifi 2 unlock code for $8. He's probably on ebay now.

Sorry, that old thread was for the first model. I thought the second version had a completely different model number, but it seems it is also a E585, but more accurately it is called E585U-82.
