I think this still requires Origin.
Do you know if you can join or create steam group parties then all join a bf1 game in the same team because then I can see the benefits in that.
Then you could either join people playing on your origin friends list and Steam friends list.
Otherwise it looks like something just to bolster your library or bragging rights if you already have the origin version.
Great price though I'm tempted.
As far as I know, inviting players to your party is only done through Origin.
@jjsu: So aside from badges, cards, other related items and achievements hunting is there any real benefit to having it on origin and Steam in your opinion?
good find. got one

BF1 origin code for anyone interested, already have it.
got it, cheers
Nice work mate legend.
honestly BF1 is up there with my favourite battlefields.
It's still great.
If I already have the base game installed through origin, and buy the revolution pack through steam, can I have steam recognise I already have the local install?
It's asking me to download the whole base game all over again through steam…
If we have it on origin already is the only benefit really to play with steam friends on steam servers or does it still open origin?
What is the pro besides bragging rights of owning it on both platforms I guess is my question (EA Origin and Steam).
