You need to own Battlefield 1 base game on Steam in order to add this DLC to your account.

    I still can't claim the DLC even with the base game installing on Steam. Does it have to be played in order to claim?

    Does the free weekend count as a temporary owned status. Started install and paused, but still can't add the DLC.

    60+GB to continue the install to find out if that changes the situation, think I'll pass.

    No, this is for Steam. It does not work for Origin unfortunately.

    Nope. When I launched it Steam popped all the achievements that were on my Origin account but the store page still bitches:

    An error was encountered while processing your request:

    There was a problem adding this product to your Steam account.

    The global achievements page still shows:

    You do not own this game
