Hi all.

Was looking for something to use in conjunction with this deal and found out that you get 3000 Bonus flybuys Points (Worth $15) with $50 Online Spend on both Ballantine's 700ml or 1L.

This brings the 1 litre bottle down to $41. Stacked with the 20% ShopBack (now 12% Cashrewards 3%) cashback brings it to $30.82 (now $34.89 $39.47) and I complete the first week's challenge (since I got the $50 min spend).

  I used to consider Ballantines to be a low grade sort of whiskey a child. Is it not cheap tasting?

  Ballantines is my favourite blended scotch

  I bought the 1l but hasnt tracked and no flybs yet 😉

    @peter6775: For me, ShopBack tracking always takes hours (versus minutes for Cashrewards).

    Bonus flybuys only ever appear the next day.

    @peter6775: Would be nice if the bonus flybuys points always appeared and before finalising the order. That way you could tell beforehand whether or not you were going to receive the bonus.

    (Personally it seems like that I always get a banner at the bottom of my order confirmation page, after finalising the order. At least that was useful once when the banner didn't appear and I realised that the team member discount had taken the total below the trigger point. I re-did the order, then rang Customer Service and cancelled the first one. Would have saved some time if First Choice Liquor could be bothered¹ getting their website in order.)
