Product of USA… no thanks
Thanks to the USA, we have 2 cherry (the best fruit ever by miles) seasons a year.
It's a lot of food miles though (and hence big enviromental impact)
So shouldn't import food, same shouldn't export food?

I hear this claim a lot from people with a political agenda and no interest in fact-checking.
"food miles" does not automatically mean much at all. Show us the numbers.
If they are sent by refrigerated containerised shipping, the carbon emissions are likely insignificant compared to your drive to the supermarket.
Are they air-freighted? In which case, please show us the data. It still may be more energy efficient than a greenhouse in Australia to grow cherries in winter. But keen to hear what you know.
And an extra dose of glyphosate in our diet.

Pfizer vaccine too?
Don't know. They tasted delicious after my shot. Oh wait, must be because of having 5G now 😅
On the other hand, they taste great, like they have in Europe.
Germerican
what's wrong?/
Still $22.90/kg at my local.
Retail limit 50pcs?
Try before you buy.
Made an account, not available for me
These are extremely sour. Guess they picked the cherry far before they are ripe so they won’t be rotten during the transit.
Price has changed to $22kg online
Take a look at your local fruit and veg shop, I've been to 3 or 4 shops in VIC and you can find cherries as cheap as $9-$11/kg
Seems like this pricing is only for Sydney. It looks like it is $22.90/kg in Brisbane, if your local Coles stocks it.
