Baseus 4PCS LED Solar Power PIR Motion Sensor Light $27.08 / $26.48 (eBay Plus) Delivered @ baseus_officialstore_au eBay

440
SAVER10OFFPLUS12OFF

Note: The motion sensor solar lights are sold out but the merchant has replaced the listing with Baseus LED Screen Light.

Following discussion in another post it appears these Baseus solar lights are well priced with the current ebay deal. I have been using these solar lights for the past few months fully exposed to weather and they continue to work perfectly. I have them wedged under the top cap of our colour bond fence but they can be screwed in/secured properly.

TIP: Don't mount too close to plants or objects that move in the wind or they'll constantly trigger and go flat (or press the button to turn them off if its not regular a occurrence).

The lights have a nice clean white light i'd estimate around 4000K temp, a physical on/off button on the front face, and an idle blue LED that activates at night once sun drops and sensor activates. They only light up a few meters, not the brightest out there, but for their size it is really quite decent.

I have tried many of the solar lights from ebay/aliexpress and bunnings and these are very noticeably better built quality than anything remotely close to this price point. Strangely, they are much more expensive on Alie. 4 at this price (I paid about $30+) i think is a bargain. They come in a proper box well secured inside and look/feel well made. Hope this helps a few people avoid the crap solar lights i went through before finding these.

  • Thanks for the post and review. $26 for 4 hopefully decent solar lights. Good deal.

    Well written review.

  • How’s the battery life?
    Thanks.

They are sensor lights, so only light up when motion sensor triggers. I've not had any issues, work great, unless there is a branch regularly moving from wind it will start to get dimmer within a few hrs. I notice as have to take the puppy outside a few times every night (half the reason i got the lights in the first place).

  • Sounds good , just bought 1 set… Good deal for 4pcs

  • Same same … thanks OP.

  • Ive bought two types off ebay (recently being putting them on posts near gates etc)

These ones are slightly better than https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/313135204237?var=611919167199

    Good deal!

Last time I paid above 30

    • Yeah I've had them, bought 4, 2 died within a month (1 water leak, other solar panel fell off!) thankfully got a refund. You would agree these are way better build quality surely?

      • +1

Yeah mine are still going strong

Definately rate them above other ebays and a few that I got from bunnings

    oos

  • Out of stock

  • Damn just missed out!!!

    • After few page refreshes, the qty shows as last one..so maybe try for few minutes.

      • Yeah be careful, I accidently just ordered the LED screen light (had to email and cancel it!) haha derp.

something weird has happened - listing has changed to LED Screen Light (indoor) …

    • Yeah looks like got ozbargained and they've changed the listing. If they come back ill update it.

  • +1

Looks a few ppl nabbed them before expired, i'll keep an eye out and re-post/update if they come back.

    • can you suggest alternative lights?

      • I bought these for my father and they are alright for what they are. Noticeably brighter but quite bulky. Really depends on your use case what you are wanting to light up and where going to mount. I prefer the compact nature of these Baseus ones putting several where i want them, i'd suggest waiting for them to come back in stock.

A tip for anyone who wants to increase the life of the lights but requires time and effort. Add a silicone seal around the solar panel edges to make it more waterproof.

Hmm weird, I purchased soon after the listing was posted, my order definitely showed the 4x led lights but my final purchase order shows the monitor led light, I've emailed the company but doesn't leave me feeling at ease with my purchase, hopefully it will get quickly sorted🤔

    • Bugger. I messaged them to ask about more stock and they replied saying unfortunately no eta at the moment. But the fact they replied promptly is good, so hopefully they sort out yours and refund if necessary.

    "Hi there,

We’re so sorry that the "Baseus 4PCS LED Solar Sensor Light" you ordered was stockout. And would you like to choose the Computer LED Screen Light ?
    or what's your idea?
Because someone post a promotion on the ozbargain, we didn't know that and this product usually does not sell well,we only have a few item in stock.
We are terribly sorry for bringing you inconvenience, please accept our sincere apologies!

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any problems.
    Baseus Customer Service Department"

    • I replied to them and the amount has been refunded.

  • +1

Same email, if they can't honour the purchase I've asked for a refund, kind of pathetic to have only a few items in stock but what can you do, disappointed

    • +1

I really dislike the practice of changing the listing, it's confusing, they should just make out of stock. What a shame. It did say more than 10 available when i posted the deal. Must of not been much more than 10!

      • Is changing the listing a way for them to not have to pay new listing fees?

        • +1

No idea, never sold on ebay. Really dislike the practice though.

  • Got the same email, after they changed the listing. Not happy.

They said to try refuse the parcel at delivery or try sell the item. That's bullshit.

I want a refund if they cant provide what i ordered but they dont seem to want to refund atm.

    • They won't have a choice, eBay will surely rule in your favour if it comes to that. It's completely their responsibility and caused by them changing the listing. If they cannot send you the item they have to refund, it's that simple. Just raise a case to eBay if they won't give refund upfront.

      • +1

Yup, will need to raise a case with ebay.
Btw they blame it on you for posting on ozbargain. Lol

        • What can ya do :(…. whether they have stock or not is an irrelevant deflection. Basic common sense would dictate if you are changing a listing to be a different product you at least wait a period to avoid any cross over impact. Any dummy could tell you that, but i guess some need to learn the hard way.

  • Any one got successful refund ? Baseus CSR is adamant they sent the right product
