$159 for the red on on Amazon.
Seems like a pretty normal price…..maybe the rep is old.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/632192The JB price is still pretty good
Will this alert me for when I'm angry and my heart rate goes up? I need something to check me
Yes you can set a heart rate alert https://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/forerunner45/EN-US/G…
Is there a cheaper option to the Garmin 245 that can download/play music by Bluetooth without a phone attached?
On the forerunner current range no. If you get a previous model then you might be able to find something
I wouldn't bother. It is… annoying in my experience. Better off getting a running belt and putting your phone in there. Mine has served me well for years.
Has nfc google pay?
apparently not
Nope
Might as well wait for new Samsung / Google OS collaboration.
Will this sync with my Polar heart rate tracker?
Should do, depending on the model./
Same price at Rebel Sport (With 10% off gift cards) can bring it even cheaper.
Also the same price at Myer.
Waiting for Garmin Forerunner 245 on sale…
I dnt have experience with smart watches, can someone please tell me main difference between Garmin's and Samsung's
(Not apple user)
ThanksGarmin is better for sport specific purposes, but doesn't have the same lifestyle applications that you can find with Samsung and Apple, e.g. NFC for bank payments, or Spotify playing (especially with this entry level model)
Samsung= smart watch first then fitness watch
Garmin= fitness watch first then smart watch.Wait for the WearOS update. It's probably why Garmin have been trying to dump stock the last few months.
This or Amazfit GTS 2?
Same price on Amazon for those that want free delivery
