Intel Core i5 3600 6c/12t. That's bound to confuse some people.

      Thanks, fixed.

    • Avoid these guys, they shipped me an RTX2060 mini when I paid for an RTX2060. Only found out when contacting Nvidia.

      • What's wrong with the mini? A cursory Google suggests that it's as good by standard, many mini variants outpacing several standards.

  • Hi Luke,

Any updates on the prime 3080 deal?

    • Yep - 3080 deals are in build in date order, along with 3070 Ti deals, shipping this week and beyond. 3060 orders in the mix as well.

      • Awesome thanks

      • Hey Luke,

Will there be any intel 3080 deals coming up soon? Currently have a 3070ti order put through but would consider upgrading if not too late.

    • Avoid these guys, they shipped me an RTX2060 mini when I paid for an RTX2060. Only found out when contacting Nvidia.

  • Heading says 3060ti but graphics card option states only 3060.

    Which is it?

    • 100% 3060 Ti

      • Thanks cheers

      • Hey. Sent an email regarding shipping me an RTX2060 mini when I paid for an RTX2060. Only found out when contacting Nvidia. Please reply

  • Considering upgrading the 2012 PC, what're the chances that the graphics card will have dual HDMI? as i need this to be able to work from home.

    • Probable no on that one I'd say. Some do have 2 x DP and 2 x HDMI but most have 3 x DP/1 x HDMI.

    • +2

It's not well standardized, but you can just use 3xDP + 1xHDMI GPU and convert one of the DP to HDMI:
      https://www.ebay.com.au/b/DisplayPort-Male-Monitor-AV-HDMI-C…

Note that some adapters may/may not work dependent on your target resolution/framerate.
Cable that converts so you just get one cable: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/143736148170?hash=item21775790ca…
Cable that converts so you use old HDMI cable: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/143736136447?epid=6043941819&has…
If you're targeting 1080p60 or 3840x2160p30 then almost any $8 adapter will work. If you want 3840x2160p60 its more complicated.

    • check if your monitor has DP ports first but also this system is probably slight overkill if you are running older 1080p monitors still. check the refresh rate if it can do 120hz this will likely be a good setup if only 60hz then somewhat wasteful unless you plan to upgrade monitors as well.

      • unless you just use 1080p60 monitor, anything beyond that, avoid all adapter at all cost…………learned my lesson years ago.

        • why?

    Hey mate,

Any dirt cheap entry level stuff?

trying to get the little cousin into PC gaming with some sort of 1050Ti/ GTX 1650 system with an i3 or ryzen 3 for a decent price

Hopefully supply on the lower end will improve this or next month, but as for price, it might be high on the lower end for a while yet.

I’ve seen better deals and without the long wait times.

Hi luke can you please reply to your PM regarding my order thanks?

  • Hi,

new to the TechFast build post, could I choose my own case to use with one of your pre-build pc?

    • +1

It's not their business model. You can choose to have it shipped unassembled and then build yourself with your own case, though

  • Do you do this deal without the GPU? Thanks!

    • +1

Better of buying your own parts if no GPU.

      • Fair enough, should be able to get a decent AMD system with a $1k budget? No GPU that is
