Anyone know a work around for the compatibility issue? Would be useful for others apps also.
I couldn't find a phone it did claim to be compatible with, went thru a few common htc and samsung models, the google phones themselves, etc.
Then i noticed the url, …/tapatalk-for-lg-optimus-2x/
You're right! So I told Getjar I had an LG Optimus 2x, and this is what it said…
"We've got good news and bad news: we've figured out that you have a LG Optimus 2x mobile phone, but unfortunately Tapatalk won't work on that phone."
LOL fail
lol yeah and i've got the 2X
surely someone can find a compatible phone??
Not compatible for my asus transcormer :(
Have seen mention of it before, and although I don't use my phone for forums, free is a good price for those who do.
I see mention of it every time I try to browse a random "taptalk" compatible forum on my phone, usually when searching for a solution to a specific question.
It's a PITA - I'm not going to view these forums through a forum-viewing app. I'm searching the web, and I'm more than happy to view the results on a web browser.
popup
"This forum is Taptalk compatible. Do you want to install Taptalk?"
"NO! FF%@#$%!@#$ing NO! I told you that before! FFS stop asking!"Does anybody know a way to convince my phone and all the 20k forums that can use this app that I'm not interested and they should quit popping up and telling me about it?
Has anyone found a phone that getjar says this app is compatible with?
Nope. It says not compatible with my SGS2.
For those of you who haven't used tapatalk before, most of the main forums on the net are now on it. It's a sweet little app, and by far the best/most supported forum reader on the market, there's a good reason most webmasters have converted to it.
For me, I use it to browse ocau, sensational-adelaide, aus-vip, and a crap load of photography forums. Highly recommended.
No good if none of us can access it
Getjar is so frustrating sometimes. It often doesn't show applications due to them being "incompatible" with the incredible s, when I know for a fact they are. So yeah, this app doesn't show up if you have an incredible s.
