  • Love the PSI on these. But a little off topic - I am looking for a cordless pressure washer that uses a battery. The ones available in Australia are around 400 PSI or less while in the US, you can get ones close to 1000 PSI.

  • +1

Honestly, the deck kit is useless.. better off saving a few bucks by buying just the basic unit.. https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/karcher-k%C3%A4rcher-k2-…

    • how does that deck cleaner work?
Doesn't look like the normal ones that are round and have the spinning arms

      • I have this on k3 model. I find it works better than the circular one. I use it on tiles. Honestly could do without it, but it does help reduce splatter onto nearby items

        • It depends on how large a surface area you need to clean. A wand would take forever on a large driveway, and be more uneven

  • Same price at Costco at the moment

  • This or the Ryobi 1800W 2000 PSI?

    • I've been doing some research for a while now with these, for $50 more I'll go with this Karcher as better warranty cover (the service center is near me) 1750 vs 2000 PSI not much of difference for me. Edit* standard kit is also on sale for $139.99 if you don't need the deck kit, you could also try price match with Bunnings i guess?

  • I'll try to visit Bunnings to see if price match beat 10% can be done.. or anyone can confirm?

    • +1

I had a price-match beat 10% done at Bunnings a few weeks ago on the Karcher K4 when they were on sale at SuperCheap.

    • +2

Save yourself a trip and just email [email protected] with the above product link and Bunnings' product link, your contact details and they'll give you an answer pretty quickly.

Bunnings in-store staff are not very reliable for price matching in my experience.

      • +1 Most of the in-store staff are reluctant to price match. YMMV

  • Is there a definitive winner when it comes to pressure cleaners?

I want one that washes the car/deck and driveway but most reviews on nearly all I see are terrible.

Do I just ignore the reviews and pull a trigger?
I mean I dont mind spending big bucks on a petrol washer but will that damage my car? (I need one that cuts through grime on my rims).

    Please someone recommend me one!

    • 3 year standard domestic warranty + 2 years when registered online

Having said that, i had a water leak and I contact them, no answer, so I returned it to Costco and got my self a new one.

  • I have this unit with the deck kit and it's pretty good. I use the brush to clean the mud off my old 4WD and it works well. The car is covered in Raptor Coat tho, which makes it pretty durable. Not sure how it would go on nomal paint.

My only complaint would be the soap sucker hose thing doesn't seem to work. But I didn't read instructions and am probably doing something wrong.
