Standard shipping appears to be $15 nationwide making it $160.50 delivered. Express shipping is $15-$20 depending on location.

  • From the previous deals before anyone asks:

The heatsink is large and if you have a PCIe Gen 4 M.2 slot at the bottom it may not fit, however if the M.2 slot is up the top near the CPU it should be fine. The heatsink can be removed though.

  • +1

Does this fit in the gen 4 slot on the Asrock b550m pro4?

It seems to be thick and I don't know if it would conflict with the graphics card that has to be placed above it.

    • Your motherboard has its own heatsink so you would remove the one that comes with the drive.

  • Does it fit on ps5 with heatsink?

    • It is unlikely. It is also not guaranteed this will be fast enough for PS5 games, the PS5 SSD reads at 5.5GB/s where as this SSD is only 5GB/s. I would wait till they announce the requirements if you are getting it for PS5 games.

  • not too sure if Klarna will honor this deal…. just too crazy 25% off on PC parts with relatively thin margin….. the logic is, if they are rich, they could get more participating shops, if they are not they might end up in a mess…..

    • +3

Klarna is backed by CommBank (50% ownership in Australia) so I would be confident that this would be honoured as advertised

      • then I wonder, why only PCCG?? is it a boost to PCCG?

        • I just goggled and found there are similar Klarna deals on other merchants like Surfstitch and JD Sports as well. Sounds legit.

          • @Bigthunderkid: Thanks for your update, wondering if they do newegg as I just found something that's only available there…

  • Still undecided if i should replace my main Crucial P1 NVME with a PCIE 4.0 NVME
Current NVME is 2000/1700 MB/s so idk if i should or not.
Im also wondering if windows 11 direct storage will make the speed difference more noticeable?

    • Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you need 1TB of free space for direct storage? I was planning on upgrading to a 2TB NVMe for it but a gen 4 NVMe will be much more expensive so I will probably just go with a gen 3. I was planning on getting this https://www.umart.com.au/Seagate-2TB-BarraCuda-Q5-M-2-PCIe-Sā€¦

But if that storage doesn't have to be free then I might go for a gen 4.

      • Requirements have been updated no storage size is mentioned only that it has to be nvme

      • Nice price on the 2TB Barracude for $259, I need something too fill my second NVMe port prefer size over speed
        https://www.umart.com.au/Seagate-2TB-BarraCuda-Q5-M-2-PCIe-Sā€¦

Have you found, come across anything cheaper for 2TB size NVMe?

Edit: Had a quick search .. Umart seems too be selling this 2TB BarraCuda NVMe the cheapest and even on there eBay store same price $259 plus $20 postage šŸ‘šŸ˜

        • Is umart included in the 25% off Klarna deal?

        • I think the postage is lower on umart's website, it was $7 for me if I'm right. But could be due to different locations.

      • Not much speed differences between SSD NVMe PCle 4.0 vs SSD NVMe PCle 3.0 vs SSD SATA Loading Windows and Games unless you consider couple seconds or slightly more seconds a lot, I'm just going by a YouTube video below I just watched, well depends what your using the NMVe drive for I guess video processing programs and the like etc you'll get more benefit out of a faster NVMe drive and in the fastest m.2 port, certainly the 2TB BarraCuda one would consider if after capacity over raw speed though still these drives are still fast even in the second m.2 port of ones motherboard running at PCI-E 2.0 x4 still slightly faster then SATA SSD speeds

    • My friend this is ozbargain…BUY FIRST THINK LATER

      • +1

Yeah "thinking later" I've certainly been doing lately, my brain thinks the EOFY sales hasn't ended yet, dare I telly up the cost of how much stuff I've bought over the last 4 weeks cause of Ozbargain great deal finds, oh well everyone deserves a hobby one can waste there money on, as they say life is short though ones bank account can be too lolz

  • First time using Klarna, so I'm confused I've selected Klarna in pccasegear checkout and shows 4x payments of $53.50 with a total of $214, I don't see the 25% discount anyone can help?

    Sub-Total: $199.00
    eParcel Standard: $15.00
    GST Included: $19.45
    Total: $214.00

    • It is just after payment you will get 2 email the 2nd is telling the payment is gone for the last payment.

    • You get the discount by them paying your last instalment. Hence 25%.

      • Thanks everyone and yupz see it in T&Cs

Umm thinking if I should get one though have too admit great price at $160.50

Edit: Klarna is interesting especially the one time card I'm guessing actually a one time credit card

        • +1

The T&Cs indicate the one time payment card is not part of the 4th instalment free so use the klarna checkout method

  • so cheap!

  • Wish I'd been able to avail this…

  • Its in stock with inflated price šŸ˜„

    • +1

I suspect they were taking some or all of the hit from the Klarna promotion. Now they need to recoup the loss.
