        Really, never had a policy there they keep credit card details and auto renew. What other insurance companies do this?

      Woolworths sends an email a month before the auto renewal happens, with a document containing the details of the renewal policy including new price and payment due date. You can notify them to not auto renewal before the payment due date.

      Should you forget to notify them about cancelling the auto renewal, you get 14 days cooling off period to notify them still and they refund the money. I've never had any problems with cancelling the auto renewal then signing up with them again with a new policy and discount code.

    How do people rate WWI? I've been quoted $600 (+$100 gift card; 3000km per year), versus $820 with AAMI. I've only had to contact AAMI once for a not-at-fault accident and I'd be happy to stay with them, but a $300 price difference is pretty significant.

      For Third Party Property Damage only, I rate Woolworths Insurance good.

      I paid the Excess and they paid the other Insurer with no issues. They just paid it.

      $3,800 damage, accident was my fault (inattention). I was insured for about 7 months before the accident happened.

        Thanks for sharing. I get the error message but found out that I can still click Get Quote and it will load the next screen showing the gift card bonus. Hopefully it works

    I'm confused what happens after the first year though.
    If you don't use this deal you get 15% off, but 10% of that is only for the first year (5% new member & 5% signup online), so then it drops to 5% off each year.
    Does anyone know what happens to this deal after the first year? I would assume you'd lose the 10% discount (it doesn't say though). Which means it's going to be more expensive in the long run (unless you get a $100 gift card each year, but I'm assuming you don't).
    Seems only worth it if you keep cancelling each year and rejoining to get the gift card?

    Point to note re the Gift Card. My 30 days since payment passed and no card.

    It turns out they only process gift cards twice a month. so it could be up to another 2 weeks or more before they send it.

    I had a discussion with them about this and ended up making a complaint. They need to revise the T&C to make this clear.

      You'd have to try a quote with the code to confirm.

      I think the gift card is a better option though? It's a Wish card so you have different ways to spend it.

    I find if you get a quote with WW the closer to when you need it the cheaper it becomes.
