Offer terms. Please read carefully before proceeding with purchase:

  • I tried to use the prepaid Coles Mastercard and got the 'unexpected error' & 'cart error' too.

    My suspicion is that prepaid credit card was the issue as cc seems to be used as identification check.

    • Pre-paid card cannot be used for identification purpose.

      But I got unsuccessful with normal card too..

    • I used the same card and got the same error. But I received the confirmation email while the fund hasn’t been deducted. Not sure what happened.

    • Updated credit card info in my Amaysim account and it went through. Hopefully it tracks with CR.

    I got a receipt from PayPal that I was charged $75, whereas I had the cart issue and the order did not go through …

    I think it's the wrong time to do this purchase … Should have wait until all these issues were fixed .. :( …

  • I logged into the amaysim account and it had captured my card details. I made a successful payement via that method. I hope it doesn't screw up the tracking as TA said not to close the window until the transaction is successful. I'm assuming as the $75 deal was applied that tracking should be ok.

      Live chat have helped me cancel one of my orders. Refund timeframe 3 - 5 days apparently.

        • Hey, will i still get my cashback if i created an account with a different email on Amaysim compared to my cashrewards account? and by the way how do i know whether my purchase has been tracked? will it show under the transaction page on my cashrewards or my click history?

      Hi, I signed up for this offer on the day and was told by Cash Rewards today that they won't be crediting me the $50. They said that I used the mobile app which was absolute rubbish!!! I used the Chrome browser on my Desktop PC and can prove it through the browser history on my Desktop PC. Because of all the Amaysim issues website issues on the day I unknowingly ordered 3 times this plan and then had to get Amaysim (via 2 chat sessions - in total 1.5 hours) to refund me 2 out of three orders. The only reason I signed up for this was because I saw this offer on Ozbargain. I feel I have been totally misled and can see the next step is to write to Consumer Protection in WA on this. What an absolute debarcle!!!

        Hi. Please turn on messaging in your settings and PM me your CR email address and ticket number - I want to personally look into this. I find it impossible you were told you used the app as the support team is fully aware the offer wasn’t available on anything but desktop. Something isn’t right here.         Hi again. OK, I was able to locate your ticket and posting this publicly here for transparency. When you submitted your claim (ticket number 525135), you specifically mentioned you used the CR App (see screenshot here). Member Services acted on the information they were given, so blaming Cashrewards for an error you made is not really fair. However, you will be receiving a response shortly that the transaction has been added to your account and will be approved provided the terms are adhered to. If you have any further concerns, please reach out.

        • Hi TA, I sent through a claim but CR rep said nothing reported from amaysim’s end even though I got charged and got an invoice. I got the sim yesterday so will activate before 18/7. The claim is now pending. Is there anything you can do? Thanks.

    Got the unexpected error also, but I have received the email, and payment went through, though no pending rewards in CR shown yet.

    My suggestion, dont try again, else you might be double charged..

    • In the same situation. Not sure if I should try and cancel the order and try again later. Or leave it and try and have the cashback fixed later.

  • Amaysim crashed during checkout, but the order went through after logging into amaysim. There's proper invoice, and credit card registered transaction.

    However Cashrewards didn't register the transaction, and there's no way to 'send a claim'

      I'd suggest cancelling the order if you want the cashback.

      Cashback shouldn't be a problem since this promo code is dedicated to Cashrewards. So they'll honour it. Unfortunately, you need to wait for 7 days to raise the ticket through Cashrewards…

    I have been charged 3 times now for trying to register for this. I kept receiving the error "An unexpected error has occurred.". It is so frustrating because I am going to have to try and recover the money now! Just on to Amaysim now…

    The unexpected error issue is still happening, still doesn't work.

    Very poor form, Amaysim should have tested this to ensure its working. I do not appear to have been charged though, which is a plus.

        Who's working there? Doesn't appear to be very competent. I'm in the IT space, this sort of errors should not be occurring, it should be thoroughly tested in the lower environments before being promoted into production and tested again before allowing the general public to use it.

    • Ah shoot. I just got done getting refund with amaysim through chat that CR tracked the click for but not the purchase. Oh well, will keep an eye out for the deal next time 👍

      Hi stralya. You don't need to do a thing as the $50 is already pending in your CR account (no claim, no step 13). Just ensure you activate by July 18, and it will move to approved on or before July 31 :)
