I still prefer to get stock from local store,,,
cos I am going oversea on next week, and get can GST back
Wonder how it compares to Gerry's "Too Hot to Print" price
http://www.harveynorman.com.au/canon-eos-d-dslr-twin-lens-ki…
Gerry's too hot price is $1249 for the twin kit, I called on Thursday to see if they would match the GG 20% off deal.
I got the twin kit from GG for $959.20
I can get the twin kit pack for $951 from JB, but I think those Twin kit lenses (18-55mm & 55-20mm) are non compatible with 18-135 lens,,,
*comparible ~ ie not as good as? /:
I prefer 18-135 lens is better,,
getting the 18-135mm for its overall better build quality, metal lens mount, focus ring, the front element does not rotate when focusing
Per the above referenced test reviews in the 18-55mm focal range, the 18-135mm's center-to-edge performance is close enough to the 18-55mm that you would need a very large print size for you to be able to see the between a 18-135mm print and a 18-55mm print of the same size.
On the same page is a direct import Canon 600D with Canon 18-55is & 55-250IS Lenses for $838 + $22 delivery.

Hmm, not really OzBargain bargain enough.
Ryda also has similar deal for $998.85, it comes with a supposedly $50 worth of camera bag.
