How does this compare to the Daisata units that everyone seems to be using ?
I had a quick look at the Daisata units, they appear to run Android OS directly.
The Sony head units run some kind of proprietary OS (maybe based on Linux?) and is capable of supporting Android Auto and Apple Carplay for phone interface.
I think i'll wait for one of the pioneers to come in with wireless. Sonys seem to get a single firmware update then are abandoned its disappointing

Slightly cheaper if you have eBay Plus via their eBay store with PLUSF5 at $493.86 plus the $9.95 shipping. Could even pay the $4.99 for a month of eBay Plus and save $20
