This is an atrociously bad laptop, I personally get angry when I see devices like this being sold, and put it in the category of fraud.
Essentially manufacturers are trying to get rid of rubbish components that would have been mid range 10 years ago and concoct a laptop with them.
The reason why I find I get so outraged, is because unsuspecting customers who have no idea and may be living at a lower socioeconomic level, purchase these for their kids whom require a computer for school. They get them home and then discover the computer can barely operate a single webpage and is nothing other than a paperweight, and have just been completely taken advantage of by the manufacturer and the retailer who should have never been willing to sell it from the get go.

Ps thank you for the OP for posting this and absolutely nothing against you for doing so, hopefully this will educate and save some unsuspecting people from being extremely disappointed.

    • Yeah it makes me mad as hell. I work in IT and had a job last week to try and get some software loaded on an 18m old HP AIO with an AMD A6-9225, 4GB RAM and a 5400rpm HDD. It was 96 seconds before I could click anything on the start menu from POST. For 2021, that's atrocious.

It's no powerhouse but geez, on paper it's not that bad for the price assuming you only need it for basic tasks. The Intel Celeron J4105 is a quad core CPU with a turbo boost to 2.5Ghz, and according to Geekbench this puts it on par with around a 5th Gen i5: https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/compare/8537145?baselin…

4GB RAM and 64GB EMMC is not wonderful, but at least it's not a HDD so performance should be OK. You can chuck a 128GB SD card or tiny USB flash drive in there and setup folder redirection for more storage. As for Windows 10S, easy enough to get around.

Basically tablet level hardware thrown into a laptop chassis.

    2017 atom class CPU
4GB ram (doubt it can be upgraded)
    64gb soldered on emmc storage

    • It's over double the performance of the Atom x5-Z8350 so no… about the same performance as an i5 5200u. The rest, yeah probably.

    I'm sorry.. What?

Does this laptop support minecraft with RTX turned on? asking for a mate

    • Nope, it's nowhere near powerful enough.

    • Surely this is a joke. even desktop GPUs struggle with that.

  • Just an FYI, this runs Windows 10 S which only allows you to run programs that are on the Microsoft Store (yikes)

You can turn off S mode very easily and it's free. Still a slow POS, rather have a chromebook if I was that broke

    • You can exit S mode quite easily

  • The design of the laptop is just colored green. I expected it to look like the Xbox one s Minecraft edition.

    • That's mostly brown…

  • it wont play the java edition with mods etc

Buying a console is better value

  • Can't even play java edition on it properly lol

  • used thinkpads are the way in this price range if you want some actual grunt.

  • It plays minecraft well though and that's what it is designed for, gets plenty of positive reviews for just that.

I call BS on that - I doubt it does ANYTHING well. If you've ever had to use a laptop with only 4GB of RAM and a slow storage drive, you'll know it's unbearably slow to even open an app or load a web page. It's not going to be able to handle loading chunks, going through portals or rendering entities fast enough to play the game properly.

Even a regular cheap laptop with 8GB RAM, i3 CPU and SATA SSD struggles to play Minecraft at times. This is literally just garbage and it's only use might be for displaying static info (if you can wait for it to load), but not for gaming of any sort.
