  • I would wait a bit for the Ft3 as prices are dropping more and more.

But how about from this site, they say Australian warranty: http://www.topbuy.com.au/tbcart/pc/Panasonic-Lumix-DMC-FT3-T…

    • That's international stock coming via air express + postage is $77.

      • Including $77 delivery = $277….

        • I guess it's dependant on whether someone wants international stock or not.

        • What is wrong with international stock, they offer Australian warranty that is all you need.

Also do you think this camera is made in Australia? I don't think so then it always came from an international stock even if trough the Australian importer.

        • Where were you seeing it was an Australian warranty? I couldn't see it.

        • From Shopbot (read description): http://www.shopbot.com.au/pp-panasonic-lumix-dmc-ft3-price-2…

From Topbuy "All items have full Australian warranty through local manufacturer service centres": http://www.topbuy.com.au/tbcart/pc/Panasonic-Lumix-DMC-FT3-T…

May I ask for image quality and focus speed, which one is better? Ft3 or Tg810?

    • Try looking it up on the internet????

  • I got the FT3 and it is a great camera… the GPS is the only let down (depending on environment it can take forever to recognise a new location)

For a good comparison between TG810 and the FT3 (and other waterproof etc cameras) try this article

I paid 400 bucks for it about 6 months ago with a 8GB SD thorwn in, so this is a good deal.

  • Lol @ Sont.

    • Lies :)

    • Sont, I am disappoint. :)

  • Okay I just called HN in Brisbane, they said it's upto 40% off. So take note of the 'up-to'!

    • +2

That's why I didn't even write that and instead talked about specific cameras instead.

      • I add a + because you give feedback in your thread differently to many others just post and run away.

    • Also, the other discounts (non advertised) are decided on a store to store basis.

    This is an awesome price!

DWI have them for $320 but you need shipping there. Probably slightly cheaper than here but I'd probably rather buy local!

    http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/product.asp?idProd…

    • Free priority insured shipping is included with code LIKEDWI.

However, DWI is trustable (I already bought from them) also they got Sydney based contact.

    • That is a good price (coming through as $330 for me). I actually realised after posting this that the other cameras I posted are a better deal than the FT3 :)

    • Strange, I bought mine from DWI 3 weeks ago for 280 delivered including CC fee, and the dollar has gone up 6c since then.

      • Cameras' prices seem fluctuate like the shares, I'm pretty sure if you wait 2-3 weeks prices will drop.

  • TS3 (default NTSC video rather than PAL) from DWI $232 incl. free shipping

    http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/product.asp?idProd…

not sure why the TS3 is so much cheaper than the FT3
