Once you dial in PETG, you won't look back.
Oh man.
Just bought from another supplier last night at almost double price.Ender 3 people? PLA+?
After something quite strong - for use as motorbike partsWhat kind of motorbike parts? Be more specific.
screw hole fillers. dash protector. nothing load bearing

or the natural.. whichever colour, but I'd go ASA regardless.
@Revrnd: Agreed. PLA isn't suited for anything external.
@Revrnd: thank you. thats one i never looked into but I dont think my Ender 3 can print that high temp
@ChatCPT: Looks like it'd be at the limit of what an Ender 3 is capable of. Not sure a Microswiss all metal hot end would make much difference but it's possible (albeit an expensive upgrade just to find out)
@Revrnd: I see. A bit more reading to do then. thank you for pointing me in the right direction!
@ChatCPT: PET-G or ABS+ is probably the best bet on your Ender 3. They have much better heat tolerance than PLA, which is super important if your bike is laying around in the sun.
@OmNomNomagon: ok. i'll get a roll of each ABS+ and PET-G in black and play around!
i also found this one?
PLA-ST Super tough

@Revrnd: PETG should be fine too and easier to print I would have thought?
@tellhimhesdreaming: Got some ASA! Did some research and found this video.
I have a narrow wardrobe where the NBN sits and its quite warm inside. I might put my Ender 3 in there and try this@ChatCPT: Would love to hear how things go with that. I've got 3 spools in my cart (along with another 3 PETG).. trying not to check out but it's so damn tempting. lol
ASA. It'd be more suited to motorbike parts than PLA would.
But yeah.. need to be a little more specific regarding the parts intended.
Thanks OP, I just told a mate there was eSun filament involved and he got all excited. I'm not into 3D, but I'm guessing that's a good brand.
Thanks OP, great prices even with shipping. Wanted to buy heaps but restrained myself a little.
Yep. Had to walk away from the keyboard. Take a deep breath. Do I really need that much filament? Hmm how much for free shipping….
I ordered 6 rolls….. and then just added an extra 4 :o
So many colours to choose from.. and I also grabbed a roll of PLA-ST (super tough) to see how it compares to PETG.My Ender 3 prints PLA and PETG fine - but my new FLsun SuperRacer (SR) is struggling with PETG… need to dial in settings.
Almost paid full price last night. Thanks OP my credit card got a good work out, stocked the cupboard.
Note that there is free shipping after $150.
For a few cents more, getting PETG is a way better deal than PLA. Usually there's a $5 difference.
Can anyone explain the differences between the various types? Or link to a reliable source that explains it? Also how do you determine the best type for the model of 3D printer?
This is a cool video I came across recently: How to Use EVERY 3D FILAMENT
If you're starting out then you probably want PLA or PLA+. It's easier to work with.

Thanks! I wanted to get black and warm white for a while now but its been out of stock, thought i would check again with your post and its back in stock thankfully. Ordered some other colors I didn't really want to pay full price for. $180 cart means free shipping :)
damn. what are you printing? are you a hobbyist or in the printing business?
was hoping for a discount on the resin as well :(
fila will do for now.
click n collect available too woohoo!
Nice price. Been meaning to try out PETG
