duracell or the energizer one?
i got the energizer ones, as it has express post…. but you know ebay, the seller will most likely post standard.
The Duracell is most likely a better choice.
Hey have you received your energizer batteries yet? It says express post but still yet to receive mine 🙁
Great price and expiry date, thanks OP
Cheers OP. Grabbed a couple 8 packs for an extra 10% discount and also found I had a $10 Afterpay voucher so used that and saved a bunch.
Still expensive compared to Ikea or generics, if like me you have dozens of gadgets using these (home automation, … ) and buy in larger quantities,
Ikea or Varta AA/AAA compare very well, and Duracell/Energiser are poor value in Australia for those big cells, but I'm not sure about the Ikea 2032 quality, especially where brief high drain needed.
Does Duracell have any specs??

The photo with the guy holding it with his hands makes me cringe. No!
:-) I'm always careful to avoid touching the insulator between + and -, but sometimes wonder if it is really a big deal if your hands are clean and dry.
Or just one of those things we were told, like don't swim after eating, or don't sit too close to the TV.
Normally you can look at the capacity, lower capacity = thicker separator = higher drain (C) rate capable. In 2032's it seems it's negligible
But I don't think they advertise capacity on 2032's. On a side note, I don't know of any devices that use a 2032 for high drain purposes.
Energizer: 235mAH rated https://data.energizer.com/pdfs/cr2032.pdf
Duracell: 265mAH rated https://www.duracell.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/CR2032JC…
Thanks. By "high drain" I mean maybe 40 mA briefly in this context.
Hmm Bunnings sell the 4 pack Energizer for $6.99 every day. Yes this is cheaper but you need to buy now when I don't need them yet.
Might look into Ikea batteries they seem good value 8 for $5. Are the Ikea any good any one know?
Ikea ones are crap, I've used them before never again.
6.20 odd amazon
great thanks
