    have you looked into the BMS MODBUS 485 and cooLinkbridge ACT
    - I don't know anything about it - but it has been suggested to me that this might facilitate smart house integration/some degree of automation….

    If you use it with Apple HomeKit you don’t need the geofencing. Works great, though the actually touch controls are not the best unless it is fixed to a wall.

  Well I'm going to give it a whirl… hopefully it works out… I have one sensibo currently in one of the kids room, this will hopefully cover both kids rooms (with 2 units) and I can use the sensibo elsewhere. Otherwise I guess I'll have to give the amazon returns policy a test…

    I've been using one since last Prime Day.. I have a full HomeKit setup and after the initial setup it's been fantastic, although I only use it in one room with one AC, not sure how it would go doing two.

    Re. initial setup: There was some issues with it figuring out my AC model, and the app was trying to push basic mode (i.e. for heating it sets AC to max temp, then turns it off when the temp sensor in the box hits your desired temperature) but I had to fiddle around to get into the manual setup area where you point the AC remote at the box then it figures it out from there. Once that was all done I haven't had an issue, it's been very stable for the last year.

  I’ve had one of these for years and it’s brilliant. Mine is not HomeKit compatible but I mostly use it through the app anyway. Geofencing is a great feature. I don’t pay a subscription for any of the functionality - maybe that’s a new thing.
