I can't believe that Ziploc bags have only just arrived in Australia this year. USA has had them since 1968!
My main question is how amazon is able to afford delivery within $1 ? to even remote Australian places?
I am pretty darn sure the delivery cost itself is like 10x the item price
how amazon is able to afford
Jeff Bezos - Net worth: 200.5 billion USD
I think they are doing just fine :)
my guess is that is because, jeff bezos keeps buying new assets, and then keeps using amazon as for like a loss making to offset his personal taxes
Saw a documentary that online retail isn't their big money maker. It's actually their Web hosting services that hold up the value of the company.
