  • Hmmm, this or oneblade pro?

I'd consider them to be totally different applications. OBP I'd be using for "close enough good enough" down-to-skin shaving, this I'd be using for beard trimming / grooming and maybe light haircut (9mm / 12mm / 16mm guides according to the product description).

Edit: Yeah, I guess the OBP has the adjustable comb for beard trimming, I just don't know that I'd consider it a go-to application. The OneBlade just doesn't seem designed for that use.

Alternatively if you don't need all useless attachments, the vacuum one is $60.99: https://www.amazon.com.au/Beardtrimmer-Performance-Precision…

    • thanks. got this. cancelled the other order.

      • The vacuum one is pretty flimsy though (I have one) just over a year old and the shaving attachment keeps popping off the housing

        • hmm I have old Panasonic one and its battery is on it last legs. it has an adjustable length so I'm use to that rather than carrying attachments. trying to find something simillar…

        • Any idea what voltages are supported on this one? I have been burned before on shavers only supporting 240V on the power adapter so being useless to take (e.g.) to the US.

    • I use that one for my face, this deal for everything else. The multigrooms are completely useless if you want to go down to stubble.

    • Had the vacuum one, got this one. This one is much better.

bought Philips Multigroom Series 5000 11-in-1 45.99 with prime membership

I've got this, I use it 2-3 times a week and I love it. Battery lasts ages and showerproof.

  • These are pretty good, battery is next level.

Doesn't, however, shave my face as closely as my $20 Aldi one (which admittedly died after 12 months).

  • Have one, as above, battery is very good.

But also worth noting - shave isn't as close, and certainly not good enough for a clean shave.

I wouldn't get it again, would pay abit more for something better.

  • If I'm going from long hipster Jesus hair look to shaving it all bald, would this be enough? Or will it be too 'weak?'

  • Is this good for trimming a short beard? Or are there better options? I have one blade pro but does not really cut evenly

  • This has been my go to if just for stubble without worrying about attachments. Great at $39.95 https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07CV35X6J/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_g…

  • There is a body groomer attachment that this particular set doesn't have - but the one with more attachments does.

Does anyone know where I can procure that part only?

  • Anybody used one of the beard or other combs to shave body hair? Have the top of the line bodygroomer, but not impressed with the 3mm comb on that and looking for a shorter trim.

    • I have a Philipps trimmer, which it's designed blade on the side and it does 1mm

I can't think of the model, it was on SS and it was $90-99
