Too early in the morning for any comments lolz

  • For just normal computer use (when I cbf wearing my headphones (hd58x which I love)), some gaming, youtube, music. These or the much more expensive R2750DB: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/632056 ?

    • There's a huge difference in size between the two. No doubt the quality of the R2750DB would be better, but they're also >3x the price. Note R1010BT doesn't come with a remote either.

I'm not an audiophile myself and honestly would probably only be able to tell the difference myself if I compared the two, so the R1010BT is sufficient for me. I don't mind not having a remote - just want something better than my monitor speakers (lul) when I don't feel like using my headset.

      • Im not an audiophile either and thought similarly, but when I decided to dabble a little bit by replacing my old 'gamer headphones' with a hd58x I was quite blown away by the difference in sound quality. Not sure if this would be the same, or if theyre going to be similar with just one having more features and pretty much the same sound or what.

  • Thanks OP - grabbed one

  • For $45 I think it's a good deal for my desktop PC. Thanks op.

    • should be better than google nest mini for $6 more and many other similar price speakers IMO. Originally just need a screen bar but why not picking up this one instead

  • I don't know much about audio gear, could someone tell me how I would connect this to my pc? Could I just connect the RCA to AUX on the pc side or do I need an amp in the middle or something?

No amp needed as these are active (amp built in) speakers but they will need to be plugged into a power point.

You can connect your PC (or smartphone/tablet) via Bluetooth if your PC has it, or you can run AUX out of the PC to either AUX in or RCA in on the speakers depending on which cables you have availability.

      They’re pretty versatile really.

  • These are showing up as $84.05 to me.
