Decided to get a new router even though my Openwrt-imaged TP-Link WDR3600 is still going strong! Have always been interested in the Merlin image and after linking from another Ozbargain post for the AX58U, I came across this. The lowest price I could find for this entry-level WiFi 6 router that has at least one good review - https://techcyn.com/reviews/asus-rt-ax56u-review-the-best-en…. Seems like the lowest price so far on OzBargain also.

  This is the only Asus AX router that doesn't support WPA3-personal

  for this reason, I always avoiding buying this model…

      Maybe they have added it later.. because the AX56u was pretty much one of the earlier WIFI 6 /ax router..

      Has anyone got one to confirm, the option is there?

      Maybe not as it's not listed in the specs on the Bing Lee site.
