Price is great, but still holding onto my 4 year old XZ Premium till a special on a decent phone without one of those garbage camera notches.

You will be waiting for a while :)

I can probably hold out with it for another two years, but yeah really hope the trash notch meme dies by then.

This one has a 'punch hole' for front camera only, no notch. That's as good as it gets, unless you buy the one where camera pops up.

          • @o2saint: Yeah, same braindead design still, they'll get me to use a phone with a hole/notch in the screen when they pry it into my cold dead hands.

            • @GS9891: Mi 9T which is now my backup phone. No notches at all and none of those big ass bezels , top and bottom, that your Sony has :p

    • ZTE Axon 20 has an under-screen front camera.

      • Ye, looks horrible, checked one at JB

        • How so? I can't tell from online pics why it'd look horrible

          • @justtoreply: I could clearly see the camera cut out thing and it didn't blend in with rest of screen. Either it's really bad or it was a defective unit

    • They really are ugly, aren't they? That and rounded screen corners, ugh. Just make it a straight, flat rectangle please.

    • It's hard to part with a good Sony phone. They just work, gradually getting filled up with apps, but not really getting slower.

  • It will be a perfect alternative to the Find X2 Lite if it has N40.

  • Motorola.

    Always my 🌽

Always my corn? Cobb? Ear? Kernel?

      What am I missing here?

      • Husk!

      • :-) I think @Hex7272 is being naughty with Motorola * loose translation in hindi. Indeed a hot spot :-)

  • Thinking of getting one to use the free optus data sim on 5G
Would it be a good idea to use it just as a hotspot? No gaming though.

    • Would it be a good idea to use it just as a hotspot?

      Yes.

      No gaming though.

      Why?

      🌽

      • I think gamers would be concerned about delays…

        Anyhow thanks :)

Surely a portable 5g modem would be cheaper if you need a 5G hotspot on the go?

    was a bit cheaper before.

but still a good price, thanks op

  • Unavailable online now, none showing for anywhere near Sydney now…

  • if you are going to get this make sure you hold on to your receipt. Phone has had numerous screen issues and performance ify with Android 11 otherwise great deal if you get a good unit

Curved screens are annoying as fvck!

  • somewhat related. android 11 causing some display rate issues on this model. that been said it is a decent price on this unit.
