    Electric ratchets are amazing.

    Seems like a great deal.

The impact wrench looks pretty useless though. A standard impact driver with appropriate adaptor would be better than this.

Mainly bought this kit for the rachet. Saved me time while I was under the car removed plastic covers. 80Nm is not much but good for occasional screwing. Yolo

Love the Milwaukee's kit but for my DIY car maintenance these tools are cheap enough for the job. Yolo.

        Haters gonna hate.

Ignore the people who say "I paid way too much for my pro snap on or Milwaukee kit and it poos on your cheap xyz"..

As a diy home mechanic you gotta start somewhere and the toolpro isn't a bad place to start.

Personally I got an eBay electric ratchet for cheaper with 2 batteries, and ended up with 2 budget electric impact wrenches that haven't failed me yet.

As good as snap on or Milwaukee? No.
        Do they work? Yes!

I have the toolpro 18v brushless drill and that's great too.

Unless you're in the trade, I think these will suffice for occasional use as pointed out by the OP.

If you use these tools in trade, you really shouldn't be in trade haha

@2024: The Skid Factory on youtube use these…. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ and they probably do more than anyone in this website.

    • Good for you mate

    • Seriously?

You just compared SCA to Milwaukee?

      Twat.

      Your $99.99 MIGHT get a Milwaukee sticker…

      Are they worth it? Absolutely.
Is it anything that could be compared to this deal? Just. Flipping. No.

I picked up one of these kits to change my car oil and filter

Why? The filter if screw type should be tightened by hand and using this to do up the sump plug will probably destroy your crush washer or at least risk destroying the thread.

    A $10 oil filter wrench and a $10 17mm wrench would suffice.

In summary, please don't use these tools to change your oil.

To remove the 50,000 undertray bolts I suspect? That is the most time consuming part sometimes…

Though I guess my car has a little door/opening.. n not sure about other cars.

The ratchet is a great tool nonetheless.

      • Exactly as edrift stated. European cars have quite few bolts to remove. In order to remove one thing, I usually need to remove few other parts to get to it first. The time it took to undo these bolts is longer than changing the oil and filter themselves.

  • impact wrench is perfect as i torque to 80Nm wow

  • A noob question: I'm trying to find out how a "drive impact ratchet" works - couldn't find it in the linked SCA site. Is that a right-angle impact wrench?
    Thanks
