Great looking case. I'm a case troglodyte, still rocking an antique piano black Antec Sonata circa ~2003.

I'm looking at updating soon to a budget Ryzen build with a new case.

To those in the know about cases, would this be a good option to last me another 18 years?

No requirement for any RGB whizbangs or super high end gaming. I'm only rocking an RX570 and would plan to carry this through to the Ryzen build.

One thing I'm really keen on is multiple USB-C ports and I haven't seen a lot of cases with them. This one at least has a single USB-C on the top header.

I'd probably suggest a mesh-fronted case like the Be Quiet Pure Base 500DX. Is a bit cheaper plus will get much better temperatures than a closed off case like this one due to higher airflow, and if you want very quiet operation you can simply turn down the fan speeds and still be better off.
Also has 1 front USB-C header, 3 good quality 140mm fans and some inbuilt RGB strips. One of the best cases on the market imo

agree, beware of very poor airflow. If you have a GPU like 3070 or greater, this will turn it into an oven. For a non-GPU build maybe ok. I switch to Lian Li Lancool II mesh after this, the temp inside of the case dropped significantly.

        • Legend - thanks!

Thanks both of you for the help - much appreciated!

I probably don't need anything that flashy but at $99 the price is right!

  • Oh man, very tempted. I'm rocking an Antec Nine Hundred Two from the before RGB times… maybe it's time to upgrade…
