Cadence - 4 Bit Retrograde Watch USD $92.50 (31% RRP with RETRO50 Coupon Including Shipping)

RETRO50

This is the Cadence 4-bit Retrograde Watch (not the regular 4-bit watch also found on ThinkGeek).

Retails at $245, they are now having a special on this watch at $155. Also filled out a survey (does not seem to be a requirement) after which they gave me the coupon code for 50% off the price which brings it down to $77.50. The brings it down to nearly 30% of the RRP. Add $15 for international shipping.

No idea when this expires.

Looks quite cool, would be cooler if it was mechanical instead of quartz :-)

    • I'm not a watch enthusiast by any means so know jack all about watches. :) It just looked cool, and figured it was cheap and geeky enough for me to purchase.

It's a good discount, but still a lot to pay for a made in China watch.

    • Pretty much everything is made in China nowadays…

If it turns out to be a shitty watch I'll just return it in 30 days.

  • Misleading RRPs always make me laugh.
So is the coupon valid only for this model?

Edit: just leave it, they say that they make the watches and here I lol so much:) then they hide their address?

    • Yeh only valid for that particular model.

  • Looks really nice, wish i could try it on tho…Just to paranoid to buy without seeing it in person

LOL. If you watch the youtube video the 150 degree hour dial at the bottom of the watch does not sync up with the main hour and second hand. When it points at 12, the main hour and second hand is pointing at almost 1. FAIL.

    • LOL and they say they make it in Philadelphia, I guess they buy the body in China or HK factory for ….. uhmmmmm $10?

    • The subdial can be changed to show different time, for example, in a different timezone. They don't need to be the same time?

Towards the end of the video, he even shows you how to change the time on the subdial.

Not sure what I am missing.
